Arrowhead Golf Course
About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

Lacking in maintenance
For the price I was disappointed. Fairways and tees had not been mowed for several days. Greens aerified 2 to 3 days prior and no heads-up given by pro shop. Fairways and rough were full of weedy grasses.
Horrible
If you are anywhere close to an average golfer I highly recommend you stay away from this golf course. Terrible course conditions not even worth 20 bucks! Garbage!
A Good Choice/Value
This is a good track - decently interesting and not too challenging - and a value when priced right (especially during the off-season/late Spring and Summer).
The only complaint I have is the pace of play, which was averaging about 4:30 ... until the lightning came and ushered us off of the course at the turn.
Beautiful SWF May Golf
Course is in great shape. Greens and fairways winter hard and fast. Summer prices. Tourists have all left. Thanks to all of them for their economic booster shot. Now we can play golf.
Nice layout. Fairly pricey for summer rates. The greens were mediocre and cart paths were pretty beat up. Would play again if it was less expensive but not at 89/person
Challenging course
Lots of water, smaller greens make the course challenging from blues. Very friendly staff from clubhouse to starter and cart crew. Greens in great shape.
Arrowhead: Thumbs Sideways
I have played Arrowhead plenty but was not impressed this round. The course felt a bit, well, coarse, a bit rough in spots and ragged around the edges with only the 18th green truly looking up to snuff. I have seen it look and play better.
Not the fee
The fairways, green and sand traps were in good shape but roughs were in terrible shape. It had a few “trick holes”. The Marshall asked up to pick up the pace of play even though we were 1 minute off the pace of play. For the price they should have included range balls. There are too many other courses in the area to play that are in better shape and at a more reasonable rate. I wouldn’t play here next time we’re we organize a golf trip
Good course needs a few things
Overall the course was good. However they really need to repair 3 of the tee boxes as they were badly damaged. The employees weee extremely pleasant and helpful. Would go back but I can’t stress enough that they need to fix those tee boxes!!
Not Worth The Money!!
Good layout...terrible condition...waited until late in April to play this golf course because it is certainly NOT a $200 golf course as it was a month ago...fairways were in bad shape, the rough was a combination of dirt and long crabgrass...the greens were ok but very slow...not going to play here again
Naples winter golf
Starting with the good….
Our weather was near perfection and our pace of play was just under 3 hours and thirty minutes. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Enjoyed a tasty lunch after the round for a very reasonable price.
Now for the not-so-good….
For the given layout and course conditions the round is wildly overpriced. I understand most all venues which offer public play in SWFL are pricey from November through April but given the local options the price was quite steep. AND this did not even include a small bucket of range balls.
The course was in so so condition. The tees were virtually barren of grass on many holes. The fairways were also pretty scratchy in many spots. The greens on the other hand were pretty descent and rolled fairly true. The bunkers were also reasonably maintained.
The only reason my review rated 3 stars was because our pace of play was amazing. Arrowhead will more or less remain one of my courses of last resort when looking for a winter tee time.
