About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

Very forgiving course
There is a lot of water on this course, but it also has big landing areas so the water wasn’t a problem unless you hit a really bad shot. The bunkers were manageable. None of the ones I went in were deep and the sand was soft, so the ball came out easily. The greens were large but had some subtle breaks. The course was busy and got slow, especially on the back. But overall the round was enjoyable. The folks in the pro shop and grille were very friendly.
not the usual experience
I have played here a number of times and enjoy returning. this week, however, there was extensive aeration on the course, both fairways and greens. The remote cart control to protect areas does not work well, as we were disabled when in perfectly appropriate areas for the cart. Staff was very friendly.
Strange cart rules
Had a nice round on a rare mild temperature afternoon in April. Played 18 in 3 1/2 hrs. Only negative
I play as a single often. They’re policy of pairing you singles together in one cart is a bit strange to me . Twice in 15-20 years has this happened. The gentleman whom I rode with was fine, it just seems a tad unorthodox to ride share on the golf course.

Pleasant Course
Well maintained and fun layout. Tee times started on time, but the course played a little slowly - often had short wait to tee off on various holes. Round time was 4:45. An enjoyable place to play golf.

Best Pure Public Course near Naples
Made a reservation on GolfNow. The course is in great shape and is a good test for an average golfer. It has water on most holes with several that are tricky to navigate. Some shorter par 4’s have sharp doglegs that end with a shot over or adjacent to water. Greens are slower than a typical private club, but fair. Overall the best public course we have found in Naples during the season. Not inexpensive, though, so be prepared for some hefty greens fees and practice ball fees
