Great for a Muni

The course is decent with good greens. I can tell it gets a lot of traffic. The staff is nice and understandably; they do put you with a group of you’re a single. I’d play it again and would recommend it.

Top 10 Public course in Southern LA

I play every Saturday, regardless of talent. I've played almost every course between Baton Rouge and Biloxi. Santa maria is in my top 5 of great courses I can play. Course layout, price, staff and amenities, not many course in this area can compete. 10 minutes after an hour rain delay, and it was still awesome. 4thumbs up from me.

Friday golf

Course layout is great, elevation changes, soft sand in bunkers, challenging design. When I played the course conditions were very dry. Due to this keeping balls on the greens from a long approach was difficult. Putting was fast and pure. Loved this course.
