Really enjoyed the course. The greens were in pretty good shape
Great Public Course
From out of state here for work. I played this course twice in the last week and a half, and I definitely was challenged by this course but it was a great place to play. It’s what makes golf fun for me is to play courses that really test your skills but is still fun to play. The greens were very fast before the rains came and Still very quick after the rain just a tad slower. You can’t beat the price for a round of golf here. I will be coming back.
Best municipal course in BR
This is my childhood home course that I have not played in over 10 years. I do practice here 4-5 days a week since it is on my way to work in the mornings and the staff here is awesome. I took a client out for a round since Pelican Point had a tournament that day and we both really enjoyed the round. Overall condition of the course was surprisingly very good considering how much play it gets. Open 7 days a week to the public puts a toll on a course like this. I will definitely start playing here more.
Santa Maria in great shape
Everything was great except pace of play. We were a threesome. There was a threesome in front of us and a five some in front of them that slowed everything down. Even the marshall admitted to not telling the fivesome to pick up the pace because the group was arguing about a lost ball when he went to talk to them. Greens are fast right now too, which I like.
