About
Belle Terre Country Club in La Place was carefully carved from the beautiful swamps of southeast Louisiana. The name, translated from French, means "beautiful land," a title that the terrain certainly lives up to. Pete Dye designed the golf course, utilizing the existing water features and mature trees to craft a layout that is both challenging and scenic. The back tees stretch to 6,849 yards, which will challenge the seasoned player while the forward tees make the course accessible for beginners. Water comes into play on 10 holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers. Belle Terre Country Club boasts a nice mix of holes that will test a variety of different skills, from long holes where you can grip it and rip it to short, tight holes that demand accuracy.

Great condition
Played this past Sunday and the weather was perfect, haven’t see. This course look as good as it was Sunday. Not over crowded and good pace from the group in front of us.
Slow Play
Breezed through the first 7 holes, saw a 3 some on the ninth hole, when we got to the 10 tee box a 4 some was in front of us. Called clubhouse to see if they started someone on the back, they said maybe they let the 3 dome through.
When we reached the 14 th there was a backup on the tee box. Since no one was behind us we went back and played 12 and 13 again.when we got back to 14 the 3 some wassome was in front of us, they were so slow they let the 4 some go back in front. We had to wait on the 3 some on every hole until we finished.
I told theI told the guy in the proshop what happened, he said both of his marshalls called in, therewas Noone on the course, he said we should've skipped a couple of holes and then came back and played the ones we skipped. Said he was sorry we had a bad experience.

Everything was fine except the day I went the greens were sanded. We were not told. Other than that the course is nice and worth the money. Just not when they sand the greens.
Belle Terre
Played Sunday morning, not crowded and good pace of play. Greens were bumpy and a little slow due to recent sanding. Areas around most greens was soft from watering. Fairways were firm and fast. Overall was an enjoyable round; good pace, great layout, just needs some TLC.

Beautiful weather, nice greens and tee boxes. Good length to course. Carts are in great condition. Great scenery!
Course in good shape
Greens sanded but putts rolled ok. Good lies in fairway. Should be even better as weather warms
Terrible course
Booked online thru the app, when I got to course they were not even open. I have called several times to receive a refund and they continue to give me the run around! If you are closed you should not have tee times available to book! Crooks!
Belle terre
For the time of year. I found the course in good shape. Good round, Good pace, and i caught the hot deal so the pricing wasn't bad. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
