Loved the course and the conditions, staff was outstanding

you have to know it takes 5 min to get to the first tee from the driving range, and grill your Hotdogs don't boil them

i will place this course again and again, I am new to Austin and its going to be one of my favorites

Surprised that this is an Austin City Parks course, overall good shape but the green speeds (generally slow) were not consistent with the practice green (lighting fast) which was frustrating. Looking forward to playing again though, easy to get to if you’re on the southwest side of Austin.

I teed off at 1:20 and it was pretty hot but on the course it was great! The fairways and greens are in great condition. In my opinion there were fewer hazards which made it a little easier. All around great experience!

Great Public course in the south west hill country. Play here monthly with a member friend. Really like the challenge this course presents every time! Always have a great time! Bring your big wallet, not much is cheap here!

Surprise me how great shape of greens are ! In middle of hot summer.

Course in good shape. Super hot out, but ball carried well.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, facilities are nice, the practice area while well appointed had been over used. The tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition. I would have given more stars for course conditions but the GREENS need help. Hold 8 had lost the green almost totally. We did enjoy our round even so and would play this course again .

I have played this course on and off for 25 years. It's a great layout and the conditions are superb.....except for the greens. The greens are the slowest that can be imagined.

Not sure what's going on here, but just wish that a course of this caliber would have better greens.

I am sure they will remedy this.....hopefully soon!

Haven't played this course since Dec which the greens were in good shape. Decided to play here again due to cheap hot deal and now i know why the deal was cheap. Greens were a joke, felt like they just buzzed a circle of grass in the fairway and stuck a pin in the ground, called it a green. Basically no grass on the greens, super bumpy and sandy, felt like i was playing the greens on the 9 hole course downtown off Barton Springs.

Rest of the course in excellent shape, just the greens were a big let down. I'm guessing they will be closing the course soon to redo the greens or i hope they do.

Thank goodness for Golf Now and a GN coupon I just so happened to find. We have had a ton of rain in Austin over the last several months and the greens were in horrible condition (very slow, multiple dead spots, etc...). On several occasions I had to move my ball 5 to 10 feet on the green just to get a putt that would roll decent. Again, there were dead patches everywhere. The fairways, roughs and bunkers were very well maintained. If you are able to get get a round under $50, I would recommend this course, but if you have to pay $80 (typical weekend round) save your money and go elsewhere.

Several of the greens are in poor shape but the rest of the course was in good shape. The service at the snack bar is ridiculously slow making it almost impossible to get anything to eat at the turn and maintain pace of play.

I’ve always liked Greyrock but they need to step up the service

tee to green the course is in excellent shape, the greens are less than acceptable, appears they have have some challenges there, very slow and bumpy, really takes away from an otherwise terrific course.

Was shocked at how bad the greens are on this course. Very slow and sandy. I played there about a year ago and the greens were fine but they are awful. Puzzling considering all the rain we have had the last 8 months.
