Nice course
Little roughed up but it’s winter. Staff is good not overtly friendly. The course layout is good. Not much elevation change. Stay out of the trees! Greens In Good condition. Overall a nice local course. For a municipal course better than expected.
Looking good
I like this course a lot and for winter conditions it’s in great shape. I would play it more often but it’s a little pricey. I have to wait for a hot deal from Golf Now at a convenient time.
Excellent course
Have played here for the last 4 Christmas Holidays and as a single have never met such nice people to play with.
Course is challenging but fair. Golf Now had a great price .
Unfortunately cannot recommend this course
They had a large tournament finishing just before my tee time that day, and didn't tell me that when I booked the round, and ended up having to wait 30min past my tee time to tee off.
The greens were burnt out and in awful conditions - I'm guessing they don't have the money to water them properly anymore.
I tried to order some food (burger, sandwich, anything) while waiting for my delayed round to start, but was told they were prepping food for the tournament that was just finishing, and thus could not take even a minute to make me a cold sandwich.
I was in town for a conference and didn't bring my clubs so had to rent from them. $60 USD for a beat up set of Cobra clubs seemed a little steep.
I get the impression that this may have been a nice course 5-10 years ago, but it doesn't seem to be anymore.
Gem near Austin TX
Very good layout and staff was terrific. Grill room leaves something to be desired. Ordered goat cheese salad that came with no goat cheese. After serving salad and getting paid, told us they were out of goat cheese! No offer to fix. Would not skip playing Grey Rock because of this. Enjoy!!
Good green pretty course
The back nine was in a little better shape then front, still very good and fun
Grey Rock
Grey Rock is a challenging course due to all of the bunkers, but it’s a great layout. There are a few short par 4s that make up for all the danger. The greens were not rolling quite as quick but there in good shape. Overall this is definitely a course I will continue to play if the price is right.

Good course and layout, customer service is terrible
Nice course and very fair/playable. Staff is rude and unhelpful, don’t seem to understand who the customer is. Berated by the starters when we simply asked for direction to the first tee, which is a quarter mile away from the clubhouse. Won’t be back due to poor customer experience, unfortunate.
