Style Desert
Par 71
Length 6917 yards
Slope 142
Rating 72.9

The Boulders Golf Club & Resort complex features two outstanding 18-hole courses. Both courses are very well maintained, and the scenery is incredible. Boulder's South Course is exactly the type of desert course people come to the Phoenix-Scottsdale resort corridor to play. A round of golf on the South kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 421 yards from the blue tees, which is quickly followed by a short par 3, measuring 150 yards from the blue tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a 545-yard par 5, which is just a warm-up for the 11th hole, a par 5 that measures 601 yards from the blue tees. It doesn't get much easier to finish: The 18th is a par 5 that measures 513 yards from the blue tees.

Pretty but, not worth $320+

In good shape, nice layout. Rock hard greens. 15$ for a Mick Ultra, seems excessive. More of a resort than I thought. Crowded, kind of a slow round. Nice people working there. But I can check it off my list.

Used golf now for lower rate. 233 versus course 280. This is a Trron managed course. Pro shop with attitude declined to provide Trro rewards points. Claimed he did not know what we paid for round because it was prepaid by golf now. If Troon rewards points are not going to be allowed, this should be fully disclosed by golf now. Pro shop said “read it the fine print” attitude.

Excellent course

Fun and challenging play at the Boulders North course. I noticed the golf rates at most Phoenix area have gone up by 100-150% since Covid began couple of years now. The rates at The Boulders is no different from others - expensive but fun and course is in great shape.

Great track and scenery

Wonderful layout and beautiful all around. Pace of play and staff were both excellent.

My only complaints were the condition of the greens. They apologized for the condition of the practice green (and should have), but the greens on the south course also weren’t up to the conditions I’d expect given the green fee rate.

Definitely worth the rate I paid, but full price would’ve left me disappointed in the greens.

An amazing day!!

I’ve had the pleasure of playing many of the premium courses in AZ but Boulders had yet to be crossed of the list. Luckily there was a great rate posted on GN and we jumped on it. What a great day. The course was in pristine condition. The greens on the North course were fast but receptive. The views were great and although it’s not considered as scenic as the South course it was a great day.

Boulders -South Course

The course is somewhat tight on some holes yet enjoyable to play. Greens were very fast and firm.

Small perks such as water bottles in the cart cooler really should be a standard.

For the amount one pays to play up at Boulders, it was an 4.45 minute round with a lot of waiting for the players in front to move -really frustrating and difficult to keep in the game -may be space players out more or someone to monitor the rounds.
