The Boulders Golf Club & Resort complex features two outstanding 18-hole courses. Both courses are very well maintained, and the scenery is incredible. Boulder's South Course is exactly the type of desert course people come to the Phoenix-Scottsdale resort corridor to play. A round of golf on the South kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 421 yards from the blue tees, which is quickly followed by a short par 3, measuring 150 yards from the blue tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a 545-yard par 5, which is just a warm-up for the 11th hole, a par 5 that measures 601 yards from the blue tees. It doesn't get much easier to finish: The 18th is a par 5 that measures 513 yards from the blue tees.

Okay

First we were charged more than the quote on golf Now? Some added resort Fee? The pace of play was 5 hours. No player assistance or marshals to promote the pace.

Have not played for a few years. Definitely a scenic course. Greens, cups felt like they were on a hill. Not level. Overpriced in my opinion.

Great course meh food

We were paired with another twosome. It was a pleasant game.. No outside food allowed but the wraps and sandwiches we purchased at the turn were a solid one star. Wouldn’t play over lunchtime again!

Course is scenic and a good challenge.

Money better spent elsewhere

After hearing so much hype about this course over the years, finally decided to take my dad for a round and what a mistake it was. Greens were probably the worst I’ve seen of any course I’ve played in the last 3 months and course overall was in rough shape. Fairways were great, but rough wasn’t even rough, just dead grass and grass roots. Staff was awesome and zero complaints there, but if I did t get a discount on playing here, I would have been super bummed for the course conditions with how much a round costs

Pace Too Fast

Pace of play was too fast for fair players. Foursome had 3 players hitting in the 90's were considered falling behind on a cart path only challenging course.

Bring your wallet!

Course was in great shape and pace of play was good. Bring your wallet however as on-course prices from the beverage cart are off the chart!!! $9 for a bottle of water (NOT a typo!), $13 for a Corona beer.!

Not going back - I can get overcharged at places much close to my home!

A MUST play when in the PHX area

Out of all, the clubs I played in1 week bouncing around the GolfNow PHX area options, this was by far the best. Loved the layout, scenery, greens in great shape and just a very fun and pretty course that could challenge you but not kill you. The staff is helpful, bar is fun and well worth the effort to go up here and play a round

Cart return guy was a d i c k.

We were aware that 2 holes were closed of the track we were playing.

When we checked in we were told to go and play holes 1 & 2 again in order to get our 18... we were then told "go ahead and keep going and pick as many as you want".

When we returned we were berated by a different cart.

"how the h e l l is it you guys are in last?" was the greeting.

He then literally threw our clubs up against the stand... and squealed away in the cart.

It took all my restraint to not lose my mind on the guys in the pro-shop...

So, in conclusion, a great afternoon was tarnished by buddy's hissy fit after we did precisely as we were told!
