The Boulders Golf Club & Resort complex features two outstanding 18-hole courses. Both courses are very well maintained, and the scenery is incredible. Boulder's South Course is exactly the type of desert course people come to the Phoenix-Scottsdale resort corridor to play. A round of golf on the South kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 421 yards from the blue tees, which is quickly followed by a short par 3, measuring 150 yards from the blue tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a 545-yard par 5, which is just a warm-up for the 11th hole, a par 5 that measures 601 yards from the blue tees. It doesn't get much easier to finish: The 18th is a par 5 that measures 513 yards from the blue tees.

I played boulders 30 years ago . It was nice to get back there . . Rosies rock ? Is that a hole name or just the name my dad learned 30 years ago

If you go up to that tee you would see the name etched in the side of the boulder Rosie with a big heart around it. Rosie was the wife's name of the developer of The Boulders Rusty Lyon. Played better than expected

The north course is somewhat intimidating from the tee. It looks narrow with desert in range on every shot. Turns out I only lost one ball when I was well short on a long forced carry. Overall, more playable than it appears at first glance. Very pleasant experience. Staff was very friendly. An exceptionally slow mixed foursome let us play through and we finished in about 3:45 - pretty good for any course and exceptional for a resort

Always a Pleasure to play !

Need a few more open spots on the range. Shouldn’t have to wait to hit balls and good portion of the range was available. No one met me to get my clubs out of my vehicle. I put them on a cart myself. Would have been nice to know the greens had recently been punched and sanded. I would have booked another time.

This course ROCKS!

Perfectly manicured as well as managed. Never had to wait on any tee and only held up the foursome behind once when all three of us went OB. Let them (twosome) play through and then righted the ship and we were off.

Service was phenomenal. Drink cart stocked well. Side note; $7 for beer and $7 for bottled water. Ridiculous. Then got to the bathroom and it had an ice and water machine for free! That was the only thing that was unfortunate. Overall phenomenal. 6 stars out of 5!

Course was decent tee to green but the greens had been recently aerated and poorly sanded. Impossible to putt and enjoy a round.

Do not go until at least June 1st

Beautiful Course

Played the South course today. It is a beautiful place. Course was in great shape. Greens were good but fast. Pins were in tough positions. I would play here every day. Highly recommend it.

this course is one of the kind.

this course has great layout. every hole has different t shot. the boulders are amazing. course condition is great. the green is true roll. too bad the marshal pushing us because took some picture but no group were behind us. we still finish the round in 4 hours.
