About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Worth the ride. Long par threes and moderate fives.
Always like this as the most reasonable for the quality in the Apache Juncion/Gold Canyon area
Overall good course
Course was in good condition coming out of summer. Overall it’s moderately challenging. Fairways are wide enough and not long- from the blue tees it’s about 6200. The greens… wow. They’re very hard to read, and very fast. The superstitions are right next to the course which may influence break. Spend ample time putting to get a feel on speed, but good luck reading break.

The course is in excellent shape...especially for the summer heat.
The fairways are normally very forgiving. Also, the distances on many holes are a little shorter than usual.
Boring course
Course is flat and boring. Green is slow. Golf cart is gas operated which is rare nowadays and no GPS equipped. The area is very warm. Not worth to drive.
Consistently Consistent
MB was my 4th round since I got here on the 16th and frankly I would say it was ny best. Fairways and Greens in great shape inspite of overwatering. Tee off at 6:30 and done in 3 hours. Great price, great breakfast, could have used a cart girl but not a big deal. Looking forward to fall / winter golf here
Good Course
Fairways a little rough and over grown. Greens rolled smooth and true.
Just a nice course in 90% condition , no complaints . Nice people at every station , pro shop , restaurant and cart staff .
Course is Looking Nice
Played in 4 hours flat and the course was in very good shape, especially for summer. Greens rolled smooth and were very fast but receptive to shots. Tees and fairways were also pretty good. Course is fun and creative and if your game is struggling it will eat you up. Traps were normal AZ traps, a little hard or wet but decent for summer. Always like this course
