About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Great views
This course is always well kept, challenging, and has beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains. The staff is also polite and professional. I highly recommend this course.
Beat the Heat - Early Tee-Time
Second time playing this great course in the last 2 months after hearing about it from a native Arizonian earlier this year. . Course not affiliated with Golfnow, this is a 'hidden' gem! Great layout and friendly fairways, amazing views on many holes as the course is tucked-in close to the mountainside.
Great off course amenities including a good bar and well stocked pro shop. Cart attrendsnt was friendly and available with ice cold beverages! Add this course to your must-play course list,, you won't be disappointed.
Fun Course
Lots of length and a unique layout to test your skills with a beautiful backdrop of the superstitions.
Pace of play is supposed to be four hours but just know that all carts are required to be back by 7pm.
So if you sign up at 4, you don’t have until sunset, you have 3 hours.
Back nine are extremely fun.
Good pace
Busy but great pace. Downside is lots of holes overlap and can be dangerous with others playing off your fairway or hitting towards your tee box missing their green. Course was in OK shape for the upswing in higher temps. Saw beverage cart 1 time in 18 holes. It'd be nice to see a net put up along the driving range to prevent getting hit by range balls while in your own fairway on multiple holes. Would play again but during the week.

Sunday fun day
MB is a nice track with some nice doglegs and a few water holes . Greens held ok and n putted true . Quick but not stupid fast . Would like to see a Marshall to move ppl around tho . Not slow but could have been quicker than the 41/2 hr round . If you are going to post a 4 hr pace , then someone needs to be on the course to monitor . Fairways are getting crisp, need some water for sure . Bunkers are good . Will play again . Cart lady was nice ( looks like Ann Burrell !)

Great course just wish they would discount the price for seniors and full time residents of the Gold Canyon community. Everyone sets the price for winter visitors and forgets about the people who are here ( permanent residents) that like to play year around And yes even in the hot months
