Mountain Brook Golf Club

MB is a nice track with some nice doglegs and a few water holes . Greens held ok and n putted true . Quick but not stupid fast . Would like to see a Marshall to move ppl around tho . Not slow but could have been quicker than the 41/2 hr round . If you are going to post a 4 hr pace , then someone needs to be on the course to monitor . Fairways are getting crisp, need some water for sure . Bunkers are good . Will play again . Cart lady was nice ( looks like Ann Burrell !)

Great course just wish they would discount the price for seniors and full time residents of the Gold Canyon community. Everyone sets the price for winter visitors and forgets about the people who are here ( permanent residents) that like to play year around And yes even in the hot months

Greens in fantastic shape. Fairways starting to feel the heat but overall great time

We flew through the front 9 in 1 hr. 10 min., but when we made the turn, it was backed up big time! Back 9 took 3 hours! Course was great, as usual!

Played this course a few times. Like the layout with its nice view! Tee boxes so so, fairways starting to get crispy( might be transition time for summer grass), greens good. Carts were clean but as always, there is scattered trash around. No water to drink or ball washers. Staff was great! Pace of play a little slow but tolerable. Rates are coming down.

The management of the course make no allowance for ADA golfers. They do not have a "handicapped" flag system to allow disabled golfers closer access to tees and greens even though the course layout would easily accommodate closer access for those who require it. Fairway exit markers were often 60 to 70 yards or more from the front of the greens requiring long walks in to the ball and back out again to the cart and for a person with a disability those walks are not quick with a corresponding negative impact on the foursome's pace of play. It took us 20 minutes longer to play the course than the prescribed time on the scorecard but if they had an allowance for handicapped golfers such as other courses do we would easily have completed 18 holes well under the prescribed time. We were paired with another couple who were very gracious and I was totally embarrassed when the marshal chastised them for our slower pace thanks to my disability.

The course is fun, not too difficult and in pretty reasonable shape for this time of year so if you a physically able average golfer I'm sure you will enjoy it. If you have a disability choose another course.

Snagged an early tee time on a Hot Deal and boy was I impressed. The course was nearly flawless and had plenty of fun holes. Great views. Lunch was also fantastic. Really impressed.
