Holy Hannah.. for a straightforward course and the 90° cart path rule in effect, you’d think you could finish a round in under 5 hours… not the case here. We had 2 separate groups on the same hole as us for the majority of the 18 holes, and a group stacked up behind us and waiting on almost every tee box. The greens were running a little closer to concrete than grass which made putting and chipping a bit of a nightmare. But the staff were very friendly outside of the starter who would make you dig receipts out of your bag or the trash to mark them like the ladies at the Costco exits.. lol (true story). But the course layout was actually pretty decent for the price!

New green grass In abundance, with 90* crossing of fairways for carts. Fairways do need to be cut down some for better roll. Greens were good, as were the sand traps. Collars around greens were very wet, making it impossible to land shots short and expecting them to roll onto the green. Pace was fair (slow start though, finishing in 4:10) and value was good (with Hot Deal). In a few weeks, this course should be at its best.

Very nice shape after reseeding. Fairways and green very good. Beautiful view of mountains. Pass of play good. Able to drive in rough and go 90 degrees across fairway.

Course was in very good condition considering it had just been overseeded a few weeks earlier. Greens were very fast with just a few bumps present where prior golfers had not repaired their divots. Fairways were exceptional and the first cut rough was reasonable. Mountain Brook delivered a great golfing experience!

The guy at the front desk was a complete J___A Needs to be taught etiquette.

This is the second time we played this course. I highly recommend playing here.

Greens: very consistent and a little slow. People need to repair ball marks.

Fairway: winter grass a little thin but all in all they were easy to hit off of.

Rough: very well maintain but it was not easy to hit out of, keep on the short grass.

Fringe: overseeding made this difficult to putt on. In a month or so this will not be an issue.

Starter did a great job making sure you were ready when it was your turn. Pace of play was really good. Everyone was keeping up with the group in front of them.

Course just came off cartpath only. On 90 degree rule now. Great condition and will be better into winter.
