About
Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Great course for price
Was a great course. Even tho bunkers being reworked. Everything else was nicd
Great Staff!
The friendly staff made our day. Will definitely make plans to play again. Some of the bunkers are through repairs so will wait a few weeks for them to get completed.
The course was in great shape for this time of year. Greens are in great condition!!
Under Construction
Far too much work being done on bunkers, and the grass was not well cared for.
Overall
Nice overall. Greens were a little slow, but the ball rolled well. Some bunkers has no sand, however, found out later they are in the process of reworking/fixing the bunkers.
Great Value
A great value for your dollar! Good course great staff. Can’t beat it.
Generally good but starting to dry out
So they have been plugging the fairways and rough and filling some thin spots with the plugs.
There is a crew removing sand from the bunkers so much needed work has started there. We played them as GUR. Glad to see this happening.in a timely fashion.
No Complaints
Fun course, good value, nice views - what’s not to like!
Pace of Play
Course was in fantastic shape and staff was great. However, pace of play was terrible. We were waiting at minimum 10-12 minutes on every tee box starting with hole number 2. The Ranger stated that he would speak with group in front of us, yet nothing changed.
The group in front of us: Ex- par 5 they are 300 plus yards away from the hole and waiting for the group in front of them to clear the green. Completely unacceptable yet it happened on most every hole. Frustrating, but what can you do.
Overall, great course and will definitely play again.
Always a good value...after the snowbird prices drop.
Really like this track. Straightforward tee to green. The course's defense is the greens. Get in the wrong place, you're looking at at least three putts.
It's a great value, the staff is phenomenal. You're a a daily fee course and are treated like you're at a private club.
Mountain Brook Golf course
This course is a fun track, it is a great course for beginners to come out and play with 3 different tee boxes and from the tips it's a great course for better players to give them a confidence boost.
