Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Very good shape

I was quite pleased with conditions. Bunkers need sand but it has always been difficult to keep up these traps. Staff is great, Ross the head pro is a breath of fresh air.

Easy to find,easy check in,carts can’t go to car, protect cart keys like they are gold, ice chest and cold water for us, water bucket for towels, they switched the nines today making distance to carry bags longer, tees good , fairways good, roughs dry most desert areas are pretty smooth, some bunkers with pretty nice sand but could use work on some esp in front of greens so they are easier to play, greens putt pretty good, played in 4 hrs, ok to play now with better pricing

Fun simple, right in front of you course. Staff is always excellent and I was lucky to play as a single. Pace was under 4 hours by a hair in the afternoon. Conditions were acceptable this time of year, greens a little quick. Bunkers tidy. Great time!

Course was in excellent condition and a pace of play was very steady. Greens putted perfectly and were quicker than they looked. Members and guests take care to fix ball marks and properly rake bunkers which adds to the enjoyment! Fee with cart is a value at $60 after 1:30pm
