About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Play it
Got this course for $25.99. What a great steal. You get range balls, waters, gps. Green fairways green greens. I’ve made it a point to play all course in valley and north and this competes with troon and legend trail and all the top courses. First nine is gettable, back nice is a lot tougher with multiple blind shots. Would have been nice to play with someone who knows the track to really score well, but overall great value for summer and conditions. Almost a steal

Arrived early to warm up on the range but no one showed up to open the clubhouse to get range balls or to use the restroom

BACK 9 HOLE ROUND - Target Golf
Had a fun round ... there's a good challenge awaiting you all on the back-nine. You very well could use all your course management skills and clubs in your bag ... Beverage Cart Staff has a great attitude, was friendly and visited us 3 times by the end of our 9 hole round. WORTH A VISIT !
Excellent Course Construction
I found the course very forgiving with its wide fairways and it made for a friendlier game.
Although the rate seemed above average for this time of the year, I plan on playing the course more this summer.
terrible greens
The greens were recently aerated and sanded. That was understood prior to making the tee time. However, at least 5 of the greens had more than 1/4 inch of sand on them making them play more like sand traps then greens. Not sure what their agronomy team was thinking - or perhaps they just don't care.
Greens were irrigated and had bumpy holes in all greens making it very difficult to putt. It through my game off completely. Made the experience for me and my friend terrible. I don’t think I will ever be back
High green fees for bad course condition
Golf course was recently aerated, greens were in bad shape and sandy. . Overall nice course but $77 for a green fee was steep. Would have paid in the 40 dollar range.
Great track for the price
They were undergoing some maintenance but the course still was in relatively great shape. Fast greens, challenging layout but still with plenty of scoring opportunities.
