The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

It is summer golf. The greens were a little bumpy but still healing so that is fine. Biggest downgrade is no ranger. Should never have a group 2-3 holes behind group in front. With the course pretty full with a cooler day lack of a ranger is disappointing
