Sedona Golf Resort
About
Nestled amidst the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona, Sedona Golf Resort offers truly unique scenery. The golf course sprawls across elevations ranging from 3,960 feet to as much as 4,260 feet, a landscape that provides elevated tees, raised greens, tricky lies, and difficult approach shots. The dramatic elevations also offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The course winds in and out of the rock formations, giving each hole a unique character and scenery. It is not particularly long at 6,646 yards but the challenging elevated greens and winding doglegs make up for any lack of length. The sixth and the 10th are the signature holes but one of the most challenging holes comes earlier, the second. This hole really takes advantage of the Sedona topography, offering sight of the raised green but little else in front of it.

Beautiful but Expensive
This is one of the best-maintained courses you'll ever play at. Fairways are great, greens are immaculate but difficult. That said, the course is too flippin' expensive. Looks like you can get a little love by booking through the club's website, but jeez. There are some really interesting dessert homes on the close.
Beautiful scenery, but course is not in good shape.
The course is pretty wide open and would be playable for all handicaps. The tee boxes were in good shape, and the greens looked good, but spongey and slow. The fairways had many dead patches. For the price that I paid (close to $150), it is way over priced in my opinion. They do have the benefit of there only being only 1 other non-executive course nearby, so they can charge for this. But I have played much nicer courses at this rate, and even better courses at much lower rates.
Hot time in Sedona
This resort course is a bit more challenging than most resort courses. Partly it is the layout, and partly due to it being fairly heavily watered, so soft. There was moderate roll on the fairways, but almost no roll from lofted shots onto the green.
Pace of play was excellent. The views are so stunning it's hard to focus on golf. I'll play it again while I'm in Sedona.
Poorly Maintained Course and no mentioning on green condition at resercation
Spending $94 plus tax greenfee is not supposed to be playing on greens with newly punched arieation holes and dying grass patches all over the fairways. Thay used to be a very good golf course and we bisit every year atound summer time. now, its a waste of time and money. For $90 plus dollars, Oak Creek Coyntry vlub golf corse is definitely your best bet for your outing expetience.
Beautiful course
Unfortunately, bad timing as the greens had been aireated. Made putting impossible but the rest of the course was fantastic
Disappointed
When we checked in . We were told that the greens had been aerated. We should have left then. We were given a discount and bar credit. We went ahead and played due to the fact that it was our first time. Along with the greens being what they were. The course is not in the greatest shape. There were several fairways that had areas that were without grads. The weather changed and it rained. Actually we stopped and waited and the weather changed for the best. but overall , disappointed.
Could have been better
The course was ok. Absolute great views especially off hole 9 but I dont blame the course, more golf now for not staying up to date with course conditions as they just punched the greens two days before I played. Putting was unforgiving added least 5 strokes to my game and they were having some irrigation issues so was swampy in some areas. I gave the staff 5 stars cause they made up for it with a 50 dollar pro shop credit !
Beautiful scenery on every hole. Conditions very good in the heat of summer. The only negative was the 7some with 4 golf carts ahead of us. Only 4 of the 7 golfed (most of the time) but it was annoying to see. I can't believe the pro shop allowed it. And I can't believe the poor golf etiquette of this group that wouldn't let a two some (us) on their behind every hole not ask us to play through.
Great views. Burnt out fairways.
Obviously the views are breath taking. The course layout is great. Great greens.
However the fairways were burnt out in a lot of places which makes it not worth the $113 I paid. It’s worth maybe $89.
Great views, playable course
Beautiful views of the Sedona red rocks on a playable yet challenging golf course. I'm an 18 handicap, played from the tips, and stayed below 100. You'll have fun!
Had a great time, good conditions
Never had to wait for anybody, course was beautiful especially the scenery in background. Little bit of over watering with some muddy areas but not too much. Staff was friendly and enjoyed a good round.
Best place to stay for the price!!
$90 a night and 15 mins from town... best deal and place we found. we def will be back!
Enjoy the Golf and Scenery
A very nice course in Sedona with excellent scenery. The course is in above average shape, especially considering the heat of the summer. The fairways are ample. The greens are receptive to good shots, undulated, and roll true. The staff is completely professional.
