The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley

This is one of our favorite courses and we were with friends from Canada, who raved about it! It was a gorgeous afternoon, views were outstanding! Only thing that went wrong was one of our carts ran out of power on the second hole. Our husbands went back to get a different one, then we were on our way again. Lots of wildlife .....saw a coyote, Cardinal, hawk, bunnies, and 2 young bobcats. Course was in pretty good shape but a bit dry in spots on the front nine.

The course was very playable. The fairways were good and the greens in good shape for shorty after the overseed. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Pace of play was 4 hours. Course is in great condition. We will play this course again. Easy to navigate around this course.

Course under seeding conditions and cart path only restriction when I played. However, the course was in reasonable condition to enjoy the round of golf and the spectacular views.

Very challenging course to play. Needed a Marshal out play all stopped up due to slow group in front of us, from the 3rd hole on...

The course was excellent. Some challenging holes but all around great playing. The weather was a little windy but didn't affect play. I would recommend this course to all types of players. Good roll on the greens not fast or slow.

As the name implies, the views are spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed playing the Views. The course was in excellent condition and the staff very friendly and helpful. The Ranger, David, even provided our foursome with cups of ice water just when we needed something to cool our whistle .
One negative, we were surprised there was no refreshment cart around the coyrse. However, that might have been because we were playing off season.
We will definitely play the course again and would recommend it to others.

Although it was extremely HOT but the golf was great. We had to walk a lot due to the course being very wed from previous day's rain. Cart Path only.

Very nice golf course, more grass areas than the typical desert course.

Great desert course. The greens are in nice shape and the fairways are generally nice shape, but there are several areas where they are transplanting turf. The mere fact that they're doing so is a good sign. This is both a fair and a fairly difficult layout. I always enjoy playing here and we'll go back often.

The course is in disarray, they do not tell you about the extensive level of construction currently underway on the course. The pro shop staff of the day, Kim and Frank, were exceedingly rude to myself and those playing with me. After talking with a fellow golfer about the scenario, he has had almost identical experiences and refuses to go back to the course. I will not be returning to this course, there are too many courses in Oro Valley in much better shape and that employ personnel who make the golfing experience pleasurable.

It had been over a year since we last played the Views golf course the timing wasn't the best since the club house and the course were undergoing renovations/repairs. That being said, this course is a beautiful course that is challenging with each hole being a different type of challenge.

Rain around the area but we had a cool comfortable morning round. Turf replacement underway around some greens but generally in good shape. I'd go again.

This was my second time playing this course after first stopping by last summer. It's a very nice layout with -- as the name suggests -- tremendous views of the backside of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course itself is moderately challenging with generally forgiving fairways, well-place bunkers and some elevated greens.

Right now, the course is undergoing some repairs. They are building a new clubhouse and some areas of the actual course are under repair. Despite these areas, the course is in fine shape for middle of the summer. Last year it was in excellent shape, and I imagine once current work is done, it will be back to top-notch conditions across the board.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating, offering some playing tips to a few in our group who had not played the course. There is a nice kitchen and dining area, and you can call in an order before you make the turn.

I definitely recommend this course as a must-try to those in the Tucson area. Few talk about playing this course, but it's one of the better tracks in the area and will remain so once current improvements are completed.

Staff, food in café all excellent. Great customer service. Course in really poor condition due to major repairs. Every fairway under major repair. Greens burnt out on many spots. Overall I enjoyed playing here even in the condition of the course. When repairs are complete this will be a great course.

Beautiful course that is well maintained and somewhat challenging. Great value!
