About
The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley in Tucson is so named for its stunning vistas provided by the nearby Catalina Mountains. The desert-inspired layout features a rolling terrain that blends in seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Trees dot the golf course and there is also an abundance of native cacti throughout. Designed by Greg Nash, the layout features large, rolling greens that are subtly elevated. The front nine meanders through dry washes and arroyos while the back nine snakes upwards to higher grounds. The back nine is more challenging than the front with more elevated tee shots and sharp doglegs. There is a small lake that comes into play and several strategically placed bunkers throughout. The Views Golf Club at Oro Valley also features a driving range and short-game practice area.

It's The Views for a reason! GREAT condition!
This is not an easy course, but very playable. The views are amazing! Condition is superb!
Bring your own Drinks & Snacks
I was surprised to see the parking lot empty; maybe my 0726 tee time was late. Check in was super quick and we started early and got the round finished in less than four hours (3:45). Our foursome caught up to the slow twosome twice. The Tee grounds, bunker, and greens were in great shape: the fairways had a few areas of sprigging, but that's great to see them taking care of the course; I needed to drop only 2 times. Bring your own Gatorade and Snacks as there was no beverage cart, the restaurant is under renovation, and the pro shop had no refreshments. There is water on the course with prepositioned ice chests full of ice after the 5th, 14th & 16th greens which was a big bonus! What are you waiting for - Go golfing here! just take plenty of balls if you can't hit it straight. Overall very nice course!

Fun Course - Great Conditions
This was the first time for my foursome playing this course. We had a great time on a great course. I look forward to playing it again sometime in the future. For those who have not played it before, there are some holes that you really should ride your cart down the fairway before you hit so that you can see where you need to land your ball. If you do not, you may find that you are in trouble. This course has its challenges, so with that said, I would recommend it to intermediate to excellent golfers.
too much non golfer traffic
lots of private carts just driving around and many people on the course for a stroll. even had to skip 12th or 13th hole because it was family photo time at the green.

The views are awesome
This was the second time I played the course. My buddy and I really enjoyed it. It is challenging yet fair for the average golfer (8-15 handicap). The views are great. The layout has a lot of variety to keep you on top of your game. We'll be back.

a real hiddden gem
Played The Views for the first time this past Sunday after seeing many good reviews on the course. Its an hour drive to get there but well worth the time. To start with, the Pro Shop staff were excellent and gave some much need advice as to a few of the holes. The course is in great shape with lush fairways and very good greens. Bunkers are in good shape as well. We paid $40.00 on-line and its worth twice that! If you have played The Preserve at Saddlebrook you have to try The Views. I think its even better. One word of caution, beware of the raised greens!
Absolutely love this course!
I have played this course a couple of times and have loved it from the get go. Staff is extremely friendly as are most of the members but unfortunately not all though it didn't detract from my round or enjoyment. The fairways are in fantastic shape, as are the greens and both have lots of character. I really love that most of the fairways aren't just long and straight, grip it and ripMot but more of a thinking man's course in my opinion.
appropriately named
The views are great...especially the many sights of the magnificent Catalina Mountains. A nice course layout that is fair and/or challenging depending the tees chosen. Our 4some had handicaps of 10, 13 25 and 35.
played shotgun 11:30
course in good shape, fairways well defined but you need to know which side gives you best approach and wider landing areas. couple of drives well struck landing in fairway only to find ball rolled through leaving not a chance for green. I played the blues/white combo at 6459 yards, while the rest of the old timers played white 6216 yards forward tees. not a long track just need to be played a few times for course knowledge. course members not much help with their advice lol. lots of old timers out at this nice layout.
Does have great views
They did a shot gun start at 11:30. That was wonderful. No waiting. Great pace of play on an interesting and beautiful course.

Great course, excellent staff with the best views around. With the new golf Shop and expanded restaurant, this will be a complete 10!

A terrific course with a good variety of tee boxes and a challenging but playable layout.
great course
excellent layout with enough challenges to keep you on your toes. it seemed as though every green was elevated so you need to hit good shots to get on. greens were in great shape as were the bunkers and the faiways. and the tee boxes for that matter! played with a group of great guys that were familiar with the course so that was very helpful. plus we finished in just under 4 hours! all in all a great golf experience. can't wait to play there again!
Slow....
We got stuck behind a group playing at a 51/2 hour pace and finally had to skip a hole in order to finish before sundown. A ranger that would speak to them would have been helpful.
