Celebration Golf Club

I booked this tee time in a different time zone and unfortunately my calendar didn’t make the change. Needless to say we showed up at 12:25 for a 11:57 tee time. The Pro Shop staff and Bob the starter were great and worked us in and we were able to get offa little after1:00.

They had a fog delay and several large groups go off in the morning. The course was really backed up when we reached the 3rd hole, so our front nine was slow. When we got to 10, the Ranger didn’t think we would finish 18, so he suggested that we replay the front 9. We elected to do so and it was a great experience as we played in 1:45 minutes.

The course was in very good condition. As you drove up, everything was green, no patchy brown spots anywhere. Pace of play was fine, greens were in good condition. Only small complaint was poor signage in several places. I had been here before but it had been several years, and there were a couple of places where the directional signs were either poor, pointed in the wrong direction, or missing completely. No big deal, really, but a bit aggravting when you are out there roaming around in confusion.

We have been snowbird golfing in Orlando for 5 years now and this is always a favorite. Prices have gone up everywhere but we always pay to play at Celebration. Demanding but fair course, great fairways and greens

Fine course and challenging with lots of water but also very fair with generous fairways. Well worth playing with some well designed holes. The two par threes on the back nine are excellent and two pars there and you will be very happy.

I had a very nice time playing Celebration. The course was in very good shape. The greens were moderately fast and most of them had a lot of movement. Overall I would say the course was very enjoyable. Not overly difficult but hard enough for experienced golfers to enjoy but not so difficult that novice golfers would become fustrated....especially with the beautiful layout. The fairways were in very good shape, especially for winter in Florida. There is quite a bit of water that comes into play on almost every hole...expect to see a gator or two. Staff was very nice and pace of play was right on schedule which is very nice for a Sunday during high season in Central Florida.

My wife and I played 5 different courses during our visit to Orlando area. While this was the most expensive of the courses I enjoyed it the most. Price included a meal also. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Sand traps were sometimes difficult to get out from but the sand was as soft as any I have played. Course offered good risk/reward opportunities and as I now longer hit the ball as far I was happy I played from senior tees.

Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable round of GOLF. Great layout, typical Robert Trent Jones Design.

Can't wait to play again.

The tea boxes are chewed up. The greens are not that good shape slow lotta dead spots on the greens not very lush. Fairways celebration has went downhill in the last couple years since I played it.

They closed the course and didn’t let me know or refund my tee time. Never coming back to this dump again.

Outstanding layout. Used every club in the bag. Green complexes are tough but fair. Course actually plays longer than the yardage. When in doubt of which tee to play you should select the shorter one.

The free lunch with the round is great. Nice selection to choose from.

Celebration is always in good shape and a great layout. With the addition of the combo tees it is more playable as well

Played yesterday, the course was in great winter shape, it’s over seeded so really nice and green. I played in the afternoon on a weekday, and it was $140. That’s really steep but it’s comparable to other courses in the area.

People in the proshop were nice but I was amused when I asked to walk the course and the answer was no. Nobody on the front 9, but I was told I could not walk due to safety reasons. Apparently walking is way more dangerous than driving a cart. Maybe it’s a mental health thing but that has to be the worse excuse I’ve heard.

All good I guess, but very odd policy .

Great value for price paid. Due to winter conditions, tee boxes pretty beat up. Other golfers do a terrible job of repairing their divots and ball marks on greens. Very disappointed - but no fault of course. Challenging holes make for a fair test of golf. I’ll be back!
