Celebration Golf Club

This course is nicely laid out and very scenic. It was very wet from the recent rains and I was a bit surprised they even allowed carts with no restrictions. The staff were very friendly and I would definitely play here again.

Played from gold, didn’t find it to be long but it has a links style element, many blind spots and narrow with water in play. Conditions and the scenery are awesome, even saw gators! Challenging course, but it was really fun.

Myfeedback regarding my recent experience at Celebration Golf Course, which has historically been one of my favorite courses in the area.

Unfortunately, during my latest visit, I found several aspects of the course that were disappointing. The fairways exhibited numerous bare and thin spots, which was unexpected, especially since the course had been cart path only for some time in November to allow the grass to recover, according to the starter I spoke with last month. Additionally, the greens were quite bumpy and showed little recovery since the aeration in November. The tee boxes also fell short of the standards I have come to expect from Celebration. Overall, the course did not appear to be in prime condition for the peak season.

Regarding the staff, there seems to be considerable inconsistency in the level of service provided. While I have encountered friendly and accommodating team members in the past, my recent experience was less favorable. On this occasion, the clubhouse staff charged different prices for three members of my group, despite all of us being local residents expecting the weekday rate. I was charged $25 less than my companions, yet both receipts indicated the Florida Resident weekday AM rate. When this discrepancy was brought to the staff's attention, they insisted that the rates were correct. However, upon checking GolfNow, it was clear that the prices reflected what I had paid, while my companions were charged more. The young man at the counter maintained that the pricing was accurate and suggested we could return to discuss it further, but it appeared that no resolution would be forthcoming. He appeared to just want to be right and get a win rather than explain the discrepancy.

In summary, while I still enjoy playing at Celebration Golf Course, it is clear that certain areas require attention and improvement, particularly regarding course conditions and customer service. It is vital for the staff to remember that their primary role is to enhance the guest experience, rather than detract from it. On this day the friendliest team members were the people working hard in the course itself. The bag drop assistants, the starter, and the clubhouse team were all way off the mark and really portrayed an ignorance to guest service or even treating others how you would like to be treated. As I mentioned, this isn’t the first time a less than stellar guest service team was at the helm at Celebration Golf course but it’s definitely worth playing most of the time as long as you manage guest service expectations.

Played here in November and then again on December 24. It is getting great shape now.

Was hesitant about booking considering the reviews on the conditions but found the course conditions to be great. Greens were a little bumpy but no big deal. I LOVE this course and layout. Always a treat to play. Lots of gators! This course is a good test - need to be fairly accurate off the tee box to avoid the hazards. I always book at least one round here when in town and will continue do so!

This is my first time playing here. The staff was very friendly. I even got a phone call the day before to ask if I was coming. The practice facilities nice. Course layout was fun challenging. Parts of the course needs some work. There was a few greens that have sand on them. Some of the tea boxes were a little beat up. But for this price point, there’s a lot of other places you could play that we’re in better condition.

Greens very bumpy and therefore not true for putting. The Starter blamed it on the hurricane that went thru the Orlando area a few weeks prior, but other area courses like Hawks Landing and Orange County National did not have bumpy greens!

Did include a good lunch sandwich, but drink not included.

You can tell it used to be a Disney course and the staff reflects that type of service. Challenging course, tight with a lot of water. Lost 9 balls🤣

Golfers are being taken advantage of the high price for the course condition. This course used to be in beautiful condition now it is horrible. The only parts of the course that are in decent shape are the greens and the bunkers.

We played 2 other courses in the area the previous two days and they were in excellent condition. Again, very disappointed & overpriced for the current conditions.

Very close to Disney, the Celebration club provides a solid but fair challenge for golfers of all abilities. In good condition, you face water hazards on about every hole. Great staff who are dedicated to good customer service. The green fee includes lunch! I would go back anytime.

They over seeded Fairways provided a little cushion under the ball helping to play great golf. A challenging layout with fast greens.

I must play when you’re in the Orlando area.

Hurricane really affected this course!

Worse conditions I have ever seen at Celebration and we have played there many times!

Wasn’t worth the money especially when converting from Canadian dollar.
