Celebration Golf Club

Fun round. I was a single and was matched up with three good golfers from Dublin. My first round of 2025. I recommend playing this course.

After playing some just okay course this was just perfect. The course was challenging . The perfect setting and abundance of wildlife great. Added treat were the beautiful homes surrounding the course.

This is a beautiful course. Very well maintained. A good variety of holes. Superb range features a number of island greens. Par 3s are very good. Nearly all the staff are super friendly, think the starter got out of the wrong side of the bed the day we played he thought he was running a boot camp. That’s the only negative, very enjoyable.

Awesome fairways and rough, good sand (could be more in some bunkers), greens ran smooth outside of a couple that were aerated and were nearly finished re-growing. Tee boxes were cut short, a few were in poor condition (sandy, lacking grass).

Challenging target practice layout where driver was rarely the best play off the tee with strategically placed bunkers. Doglegs, long par 5's, tight fairways in certain spots, long approaches on certain holes. No real signature hole. Greens had some very steep slopes, neither ran fast nor slow, had trouble reading the greens all day.

Surprised that we finished in 4 hours with a twilight tee time. Thought this would be a 5 hour round given the 8.5 minute tee time intervals, but our foursome only waited for the group ahead of us on hole 2.

Carts were in good condition, good padding on the seats, GPS that wouldn't tell you where the out-of-bounds areas were, 2 coolers with ice but no water bottles provided. No range balls provided, separate fee. Surprised that they didn't open up the grill to the players during the round, they refuse to do phone orders. Had to second-guess a few

Most memorable thing about the course was the million dollar homes that lined some holes. That and sitting in traffic for 25 minutes trying to get back onto I-4 after the round.

I enjoyed playing, but pace was slow and finished in 5 hours. I work as a marshal at my home course and we always have a marshal working the course. Didn’t see any asking if pace was ok. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday but still to slow.

I play here regularly and have to say that this is a gem in central Florida. Great layout, excellent practice facilities, and a superb staff that compares to private clubs I have been a member of across the country. Top notch!!!

It has been 2 years since I last played Celebration, one of my favorite courses in the Disney area. I have to say I was very disappointed with the conditions (outstanding in the past) and the price has nearly doubled since I last played. We paid over $150 for a late afternoon (1:47) tee time and was assured by the Pro shop we would have no problem finishing. We waited on every shot, played the last hole in darkness with no ranger in site the entire round. This used to be one of the best in the Disney area, but sadly they only seem interested in charging more and delivering less. Hate to say it, but you lost me as a loyal customer Celebration.

We play Celebration every year on vacation. I am a Senior over 70 but have played competitively for many years.

Tees and fairways were in excellent condition.

Greens a bit bumpy, but not much break because of it.

Always treated very well.

I booked this tee time in a different time zone and unfortunately my calendar didn’t make the change. Needless to say we showed up at 12:25 for a 11:57 tee time. The Pro Shop staff and Bob the starter were great and worked us in and we were able to get offa little after1:00.

They had a fog delay and several large groups go off in the morning. The course was really backed up when we reached the 3rd hole, so our front nine was slow. When we got to 10, the Ranger didn’t think we would finish 18, so he suggested that we replay the front 9. We elected to do so and it was a great experience as we played in 1:45 minutes.

The course was in very good condition. As you drove up, everything was green, no patchy brown spots anywhere. Pace of play was fine, greens were in good condition. Only small complaint was poor signage in several places. I had been here before but it had been several years, and there were a couple of places where the directional signs were either poor, pointed in the wrong direction, or missing completely. No big deal, really, but a bit aggravting when you are out there roaming around in confusion.
