Celebration Golf Club
About
The 18-hole Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Celebration Golf Club measures 7038 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 140 and a 74.5 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass.
Father and son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. created a golfing experience that is second to none at Celebration Golf Club. As a result, Celebration is a championship venue with the park-like feel of a modern, Florida course.
They were also successful in creating separate personalities between the nines. On the front, many holes border wide boulevards lined on the other side by pre- 1940 replicate homes from America's southern region and that of Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. But with the back, the homes fade into the brush letting Mother Nature take center stage. Designed with shot-making strategy in mind, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting.

Amazing Course
Such a fantastic layout, water features on most holes. The Bermuda grass was pristine and made it a pleasure to hit off.
Celebration Golf Club
First time. Really enjoyed the course. Good layout. Nice conditions. Good rolling greens.
Slow Play
Nice course and layout, but playing time was excruciatingly slow. Left the course after playing 14 holes of golf. Afternoon was too hot to sit around waiting 10 minutes on every hole. Beverage cart came by often which was great.
Great track. Great staff.
This is in my top 3 courses in all of Orlando. Course is always well maintained. It’s a difficult track, but not impossible. Long, but you have to be smart off the tee. Customer service is always solid.
I wish there was a cart person around for early tee times. Or to have the concession station open before 10 am, would even be good. Especially when it is the dog days of summer in Florida.
But as a local, I just bring plenty of bottled waters and orange slices.
You will never be disappointed playing Celebration
Long time
One of my favorite courses in Orlando the pace of play was slow today. Enjoyed myself with good company is a good time and the lunch was pretty good also
only front 9
with only playing the front, obviously limited...but I'm sure the back was in as good a shape.... I'm also sure the 4-some in front, of our 3-some, played as slow...that part, o h well...problem for me... arrived to be told holes 12-17 were cart path only...I might have tried, but the t-storms were hovering at the turn ...and it was a no-brainer.... I only bother to drop a note because we should have known...Golf Now...before purchase, that 6 holes would be cart path...and...this is a good example of the difference between courses in the area...those, like Celebration, that have the infrastructure in place and a few others that can Not "Keep Up" w/ all aspects of course maintenance ... Celebration is 1 of those that can...and Does
Good Celebration
It was a great round to celebrate the 4th of July.
One of area's better courses.
Course in excellent. The only reason I did not give an over excellent was some of the tees were a little rough. Fairways lies were always good. Greens were a little slow, but that is personal preference. Could also be due to extreme heat. Only downside was paying the extra two dollars for environmental fee. I felt it was just a way to get more money.
Course closed due to weather, never got credit or refund
I made reservations then showed up to course and they closed due to weather. They stated could not refund go through GolfNow. I cannot find an area on GolfNow to contact anyone. I have GolfPass membership and will not renew, because of this situation.
Celebration
Well maintained course, very challenging with gorgeous views along the course.
Great course
This course is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to the lay out, conditions of the greens and the challenge it offers to its players. I recently played with a group of four and was playing at the pace of play, when a ranger approached us and told us we needed to play faster. As a group we began to play faster and were ahead of the required pace of play of the course. On the turn, we stopped to utilize our lunch vouchers that are provided for booking the tee time and had just sat down to quickly eat and the same ranger appeared and told us that we were not aloud to sit down and eat or drink and we needed to continue to move on and keep up pace of play. I explained that there is another group of 4 behind us and that if they would like to play through us, that would be totally fine, that way we could eat and not be rushed. The ranger stated “We can’t do that and you need to get up and move onto the next hole.” We politely got in our carts and continued to hole 10 where we were met by another ranger that told us we needed to speed up our pace in order to remain pace of play. I understand there is a standard in which pace of play needs to be preformed but as a group we were not playing slower then that standard. Rushing a group to continue in their round in order to “keep pace” is not acceptable, especially when you pay $60 for a round. The group behind us was not waiting excessive times to tee off either. I felt very rushed during the time I was playing and of course that is not a feeling anyone that plays recreational golf wants to experience.
