Celebration Golf Club

My only issue with the course was Golfnow. In the end, I ended up paying more going through Golfnow as opposed to booking directly with the course. This, even after using a coupon.

The other issue I have was that Golfnow through my Golfpass account advertised Free range balls at this course. When I checked in they said the range balls are not free.

The course was in very good condition. The pave was fine. The two gentlemen they paired us with were good chaps and played to our pace. It was also very good to play on a course in great shape. The only concerns were the greens seemed to have been recently punched. There were lines, which sometimes distracted the route of the ball. I would imagine, when the aeration has taken its course, this is an awesome place to play. Don’t get me wrong, we thoroughly enjoyed our round. The tee boxes and fairways were fantastic. Love the layout. We will add this course to our rotation in our quest to play great courses at a reasonable price, which this was. The entire staff, friendly, helpful, and courteous. We will be back. Thank you.

Course is in fantastic shape. Hats off to the groundkeepers. Still has a nice set up after all these years. For a resort area it’s a mixed bag on staff friendliness. Some are great. Others are just ok.

Bumpy slow greens, course was very wet on back nine, good layout with lots of water.

Groups were fit in between scheduled tee times that were 90 mins late bc of rain. Then the course has 6somes and then multiple singles.

As the title says, the layout is beautiful and tranquil but my god the play was so so slow. This was painful, we were a two ball who joined up with the two ball infront as we kept talking to them on the tee boxes, and when I mean tee box this was only the 3rd. The four ball infront really needed warnings about slow play but no course rangers & to comply the pain carts weren’t allowed on the actual course why? In this day and age?

The greens had obviously been relayed some stage and this was showing with wot could be described as railway lines up and down the greens but actually weren’t to bad. Still all in all it was a joy to play and admire the layout and surroundings, we all can moan but that’s usually to cover or bad rounds cause we all can’t keep blaming the clubs can we ?

This is an excellent public course that I have played a number of times in the past year. The conditions were not as good as they usually are but that maybe to the lack of rain. Greens in good condition.

Greens and tees had been spiked and sanded but and brushed in and left for the rain to wash in but ain’t any forecast, loads of excess sand on greens fringes also very untidy in other area’s. Heard so much about Celebrations Golf Course as a must play but was disappointed..

Usually this course is lush and plush. Not so much right now. The staff said it was associated with a 5” deficit of rain so far this year. Looks probably correct but as I’ve always been quite impressed by it in the past, not so much right now. Hope it gets the attention it needs and gets back to that diamond in the rough.

I would like to mention that this is my favorite course in the Orlando area - play it very often and love everything about it.

We were advised that the course had recently been punched and sanded - but boy, oh boy- the tee boxes looked horrible, fairways decent but greens were totally unplayable - massively punched out with huge lines cut all around and completely sanded - so totally unplayable and the course should absolutely be closed.
