The 18-hole Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Celebration Golf Club measures 7038 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 140 and a 74.5 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass.

Father and son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. created a golfing experience that is second to none at Celebration Golf Club. As a result, Celebration is a championship venue with the park-like feel of a modern, Florida course.

They were also successful in creating separate personalities between the nines. On the front, many holes border wide boulevards lined on the other side by pre- 1940 replicate homes from America's southern region and that of Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. But with the back, the homes fade into the brush letting Mother Nature take center stage. Designed with shot-making strategy in mind, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting.

Grainy greens that don’t break the way they look

Some quirky holes, barely see ur ball in 3 inch rough, and “thanks for pre-paying, I just need your $2 environmental fee”

One of Disney’s Best!

The Celebration course is a Robert Trent Jones Sr/Jr design, and anyone familiar with Sr courses in Alabama and elsewhere will understand the high level of course design. Celebration is no different. Esthetically the course has nice vistas of nature and lots of water. From a playability standpoint, the course is an excellent challenge for all skill levels. The course is not long and the slope is reasonable - meaning you can score low if you play it smart. And like with most Jones designs, you have the choice of being aggressive by going over water to hit a par 5 in 2 or playing it safe. Overall, it is a great course for the money and one of my favorites as a local.

Worth every penny and then some

Course was in immaculate shape and pace of play was never an issue (helps teeing off by 8). Staff was all friendly and price of the round included free lunch in the clubhouse when finished. Couldn’t ask for a better deal, will definitely return

We really enjoyed the course layout. Greens were fast and true. Only issue was tee areas were undergoing repair and very soft and scruffy so difficult to get sure footing for drives in particular
