The 18-hole Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1996. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Celebration Golf Club measures 7038 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 140 and a 74.5 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass.

Father and son team of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Jr. created a golfing experience that is second to none at Celebration Golf Club. As a result, Celebration is a championship venue with the park-like feel of a modern, Florida course.

They were also successful in creating separate personalities between the nines. On the front, many holes border wide boulevards lined on the other side by pre- 1940 replicate homes from America's southern region and that of Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. But with the back, the homes fade into the brush letting Mother Nature take center stage. Designed with shot-making strategy in mind, this championship caliber course demands accurate approach shots and consistent putting.

Nice course

I heard great things about Celebration. I think my expectations were set higher then what I experienced. Great fairways. Greens were fast. But for the price, I think there are better options out there from my what I experienced. I will return but only at a deals price point.

Awesome course

All around great course! Friendly staff all around the course from the pro shop, marshals, range staff! Conditions were excellent! Pace of play was good, we tee’d off at 204 and finished at 615, just as the sun set. Would play again in a heart beat!

Fourth time

I've played Celebration four or five times. Each time, I have been very impressed. I play early, so my pace may be accelerated, but it has been great. A few times, including this one on a hot deal.

The staff is super nice and the pro shop is well-stocked. Well-aware starters are informative and keep things on time and moving. They have a play-and-eat deal that accesses a fairly decent lunch venue. If you are there early, go downtown into Celebration and try the diner - a very good breakfast place less than a mile away.

As to the course itself; great greens but for a few spots here and there. Very nice layout with plenty of trouble. I played the black/gold combo. It looks like younger, low-handicap players would like the black all the way around. You'd have to avoid a lot of bunkers and offline trouble.

If you were choosing to play the Disney courses, this is better than those except The Palms and a much better value.

Give it a try, and you'll be glad you did.

Great course. Water on 17 holes!! Greens in great shape. Only niggles were that the cost was a little high for a non res aand estaurant choice v v limited and service v slow.
