Penderbrook Golf Club

I’ve avoided this course for a while. Not really sure why not. I loved it. The pace was awesome and it’s a lovely course.

Last time I played this course was about 3.5 years ago. I remember it was good course to play and now, even in winter, fairway is in very decent shape and the green is surprisingly fast even with moisture!

I played lot other courses around NVA area and most of them suffers from npbad greens, but here, GREEN IS VERY NICE SHAPE. Yeah, there are couple holes needs some work but not too bad, it still rolls nicely and checks nicely too! Compare to other medium priced courses, their green, jumps and zigzag! So trust me, I will take this green every time! And staffs are very friendly, thank you guys!

Having played this course many times over the past 10 years or so, I'd say it was in average condition today. There has been a lot of rain recently which certainly affected the fairways and rough. The greens had been recently aerated and were incredibly slow, the slowest I've played anywhere in years. I don't mind when courses aerate their greens; BUT they should let you know in advance when you are booking. Many courses do this; apparently Prenderbrook does not.

Computer system down in clubhouse so they had to write credit card numbers down. Snack bar closed. Small fridge in pro shop next to empty. Were told a beverage cart was going out in 20 minutes. snack bar at the turn closed. called the pro shop after 12 holes and asked about drinks. was told they are getting the cart ready. Finished 18 and beverage cart sitting in front of club house where it sat till after finishing a beer in club house. Take care of your customers.

Great course for the price. Staff is friendly. The greens were rolling nice. The upgraded bar was good for a post round brew.

Though they have made improvements and the greens were good,the rest of the course is in poor shape. They also do no marshalling Andy there’s are always people jumping holes or playing extremely slow. NO amenities at all..Cheap ( with discounts) And convenient but not a good course.

Fairways were rough, greens were still be airated, traps need sand. Overall a average course but they are attempting to charge a higher price for a round than they should. If you can get in a round for 30 to 35 on weekday or 40 on weekend go for it otherwise I’d pick another course.

Played with two other guys and we were amazed at the lack of tee box maintenance on front nine. Greens were in good condition despite the numerous ball marks not repaired by previous golfers. bunkers were not racked

Tee boxes shoddy, Fairways spotty and lacking grass, greens in good conditions.

Overall fun track to play, just over priced for weekday play.

I’ve played Penderbrook a few times now and each time has been pleasant. This time was a late decision to grab a round at the end of the day. Course was a little more busy than it has been but understandably so as it was a late afternoon on a hot day. As always conditions were good and the pace was as well.

Great course with some interesting holes that will challenge all handicaps. Can't beat the location, right off the beltway. They have upgraded the clubhouse and I was impressed with the changes. Reasonably priced and worth it

First time playing here. We walk in and like bam! just hit golf gold! Thre were specials with your green fee that you get cart and two free drinks -like beer/alcohol whatever! My friend was so pumped he buys a shirt and the dude says, 'oh that's on sale 1/2 off' and we walked outta there with 8 beers, a shirt, a dozen balls for like $50 each before we even tee off. Course wss a little rough but its been a crappy spring so I get it but overall nice layout and def challenging. You need to be accuate off the tee to have a chance. Perfect day for golf. I will play again.
