Magnolia/Dogwood at TimberCreek Golf Club

Was a tournament going on. Had to play magnolia twice. Great if you wanna play for 7 hours

Pace of play too slow. Too many single golfers. Golfer without cart.

My first time here. Nice layout. Challenging. Greens a little slow but to be expected right after Hurricane Sally. Good value on GolfNow Hot Deal.

We love playing at Timber Creek. It is well kept and the staff are very friendly. They have great sandwiches and burgers in the clubhouse too. It is well work the money.

First off I arrived earlier than I expected ( my problem I get that) the started says yea you’re 1132 ( I arrived at 930) and since you purchased through Golfnow ( like it was a punishment) you have to wait till that time (mind you’re there was NO ONE waiting to go and I was alone) should have known that was a sign of things to come, rude homeowners having a conversation near the tee box (with a loud barking dog) one of the tee boxes was flooded out, greens had been verticut (recently I hope because the lines were standing up on the turf) had a ball stop dead on a side hill ( now that’s a slow green!) the i overall experience was not enjoyable at all. I’ll go to Pensacola next time or over to mobile. Sad because the course has potential. Beautiful surroundings. Fairways looked like they had not been mowed in a while, tee boxes left a lot to be desired. Hope it gets better soon!

Outstanding and friendly staff in the pro shop, the 19th hole and the beverage cart lady. The whole course was in great condition!

It is not in perfect shape but it is very good. Tee boxes are a bit sparse, need to use a longer tee maybe. Fairways are very decent and have some cushion to them to give a nice lie. Rough is plush, you can lose a ball easily. Not sure what they are doing with the bunkers they haven't been dug up and raked and are hard as pavement. Most greens are good, they roll pretty slow. Fabulous clubhouse, great restaurant. Nice folks. Carts are a bit worn out for sure. You'll find some bad areas on the course but overall, you will like it.

The course was In good shape but the driving range was I bad shape. Also, for a very hot summer afternoon with no water stations on the course it would have been nice to see the drink cart on the back nine at least once.

Course was in great shape and we played in 3hrs and 20 mins.

Been over 10 years since I last played the course. I was impressed. The course was in very good shape, lots of good grass, and the greens were very nice. Only criticism is the traps were very a little sparse and clayee. Could use some more sand.

Staff was very nice. Made for a good round of golf.

The weather was hot but with a nice breeze. The course offers plenty of shade. The pace of play was good and the course looked great for a dry summer in Alabama.

Yardage markers on the course would be handy. If you don't have a range finder, you'll struggle.

The driving range is a bit rough.

There is a drought, so the course conditions are in average shape.

The greens varied in speed a bit, but mostly fast.

Speed of play was good, though there was a party of five in front of us. We don't push and the twosome behind us was patient too.

The club house and pro shop are very nice. The staff was nice and very accommodating.

This is my second time playing there and I'm learning the course. I guess I'll need to buy a range finder if i expect my score to improve.

First time at this course and had an awesome time due to the friendly staff and good condition of the course (May need more watering on some fairways).
