Magnolia/Dogwood at TimberCreek Golf Club

Couse has filed bankruptcy and is trying to stay afloat. Neighborhood does not appear willing to help. It shows in some maintenance issues and things like lack of drinking water on some of the nines. Hopefully they can survive as its a fun track.

This course is a great value. The course was in excellent conditions, this track is always a lot of fun to play.

There is no grass in the tees or fairways at this time due to drought. Do NOT play right now.

Good layout, 3 nines and as challenging as you want to make it. Fun course to play and good condition considering the summer heat. Some yardage markers are difficult to find but probably no problem for regulars. Will play again.....

Have played this course many times. Layout is fabulous. Staff is friendly, but the condition of the course has deteriorated recently: lots of weeds, even on the greens, and burned, bare spots on the fairways. This course should be in peak condition this time of year, but it definitely is not. Still, I'll play here whenever we're in town.

We payed regular price, but weren’t told there was a tournament going so we had to play the same 9 twice. The greens were all infested with crabgrass and some fungus. Conditions were much better in the spring. Ground crew were a hole away for the first nine and not etiquette friendly. All in all not happy.

What was once a beautiful, professionally run, five star course has devolved into a 2-3 star average track with a low energy, apathetic staff. The greens are in terrible shape for this time of year. Crab grass and bare spots everywhere. The cart paths and bridges are in terrible shape, and in bad need of maintenance. By comparison, the municipal course across the bay is in much better condition, for almost half the price. Also their were three maintenance tractors that stalked us on every hole for the first nine holes, staying approx. 25-50 yards behind us. They made very little effort not to be distracting, and frequently were moving around and making noise while we were over out shot. What ever happened to golf etiquette and common courtesy? You won't find any at this course apparently. Oh, and to top it off, when I got there, I was notified by the person at the counter that they had a large tournament going on, and that I would have to play the same nine twice. This is on a pre paid tee time. There was no warning, or notification that this would be the case prior to me paying and arriving at the course. The counter person was very apathetic when I complained about it. No effort at all to make it right. She could have cared less. Save your money. There are many better options in the area.

The facilities and the course were both nice the staff could have been a little friendlier. Overall it was a very good value for the money.

Some of the fairways are tight, but overall enjoyable. Would play again

Had an issue with GolfNow booking that was paid in full but the booked tee time was not part of the available times per ProShop. The course was in pretty decent condition. Fairways were great. Greens were pretty good except for a few bad spots at times. Sand traps weren’t in very good condition. The cart paths are concrete but had tons of baaaad spots. Because of our GolfNow issues, we had to pay but proshop honored the same prices and gave us each free range balls...which was appreciated.

The second nine I playef The Dogwood had great hills & elevations!! Enjoyed entire exprrience. The staff great and club house restaurant super. I'm on vacation here and wish had a course like this back home.

Played Dogwood and Pines 9's. Fairway nice, greens excellent if a little slow. Sand traps not raked on first nine. Generously wide fairways, pin markers a bit confusing, not always where they were supposed to be set on the card. Well worth the money.

The employees(pro shop and cart girls) were super nice.The tee boxes and the fairways were great.The greens were a disaster.several greens hand sand and no grass in several places. 1 particular green ,a maintenance man had dug a hole on the green and left his bucket on the green as we made our shots to the green .There was a spot on the green that had a black drainage cover for water drainage .on a scale of 1- 10 i give it a 5 only because of the greens

Course was in very good condition at a great price.

Course was in excellent condition except for a couple of green ares that are having stress issues like many Southern courses are experiencing.

Course is overall in great condition and I highly recommend it to all players.
