Superb Plauing conditions
Entire course in primo condition. Be advised greens are on the slow side. And you will make more putts than you miss by keeping break within the hole. But they're like carpet - nary a blotch to be found.

Great place for beginners
Staff was really friendly and accommodating and course was very forgiving for new guys like us. Will definitely be back

Change the nines around
This course would work much better if the current front 9 was the back 9 and vice versa.
The transition from 9 to 10 is awkward while a transition from 18 to 1 is smooth. Switch the nines would also have golfers finishing on 18 right by the parking lot.
The traffic and busy-ness around the clubhouse would be greatly reduced.

Good Value
Course conditions were not bad considering the recent weather. This course attracts a lot of beginning and slow golfers. We saw one twosome of young men drive their cart round the back edge and right edge of #16 green when there was no reason to do so except for laziness. An occasional appearance by the marshall on duty would have helped.

Very good.But..
Golf fees are cheap and the golf course is in pretty good condition. I'm still like there. The problem is that there are too many fruit flies. Especially around the green, it is difficult for fly flies to come into the face and mouth and concentrate on playing..

The warm and humid weather combined with our proximity to the Potomac River give us a large population of flying insects.
