Keep Pace
My played11:40-12P. I arranged this outing for my birthday and all started well, but quickly became an annoyance when the Course Marshall was consistently hovering and harassing us..claiming that we needed to keep pace. This is false because my group was on pace and even playing scramble. The group in front of us are our friends and they let us know it was the group in front of them where one guy took multiple mulligans..but they weren’t bothered. Even at the midpoint, my friends went in to grab food and were told “you guys should take your food to go and play to keep pace”..whilst the group in front of them were sitting and eating in peace? Feels targeted. I just wanted to share my experience and disappointment. It’s a nice course, but hold the hovering and harassing, makes us very uncomfortable. Please train your staff to do better. Just because we are a group of women doesn’t mean we don’t know how to play. Your staff member/course mashall..whatever they are called kept harassing my group at least 5 times and stuck around to watch us play..no thank you.
Excellent Condidtion
I thought the course was in excellent condition. While the greens were slow, they were very receptive and rolled true. Given the amount of play the course gets, I was shocked to see how great the greens were. The layout was not super difficult, but the course has plenty of challenges.

Beautiful course wish I got what I paid for.
This is a great course. One thing that I can't stand is when they make every group a four some to get extra cash. If you're gonna do that charge less. I wanted to golf with my dad just us, that's why I paid for 2 people if I wanted to play with 4 I would've brought friends. $135 let me just play with my dad and keep to your tee time schedule cuz next time I'm walking off and demanding a refund.
Thank you for your review. As a public golf course, one of our goals is to create as much access to the course as possible. One of the ways we do this is by pairing players into foursomes. It is standard operating procedure for the course to pair players into groups of four, especially on busy days. If we did not do this, it would reduce the availability for other golfers to be able to play. You played on 6/15, which was a Saturday. Saturdays are very busy, which means it's especially important that we operate this way. Unfortunately, there are not enough tee times during the day to be able to accommodate starting only twosomes or singles. Rough Too Long
This is a great golf course to play. It the rough is way too high. You cannot find your ball 50% of the time in the rough. It needs to be cut shorter. I am not playing this course again until they can cut the rough shorter making it a better experience for the average golfer. I will also be placing this information all over social media until the problem is fixed!

The warm and rainy weather really gets the rough growing quickly, however, with the dry stretch of weather coming, we will begin to see the rough thin out some. Fun course
The course is beautiful and lots of fun, the only thing I would recommend is that the cut the grass just a bit so balls can be found. It really hurts the pace of play as people spend too much time looking for their valls. Yes, I understand keep it in play and I do but many people are not professional and they want to have fun hitting nit wasting time looking..

Love the day out at the Gonk
The course look good. The fairways were in general very playable condition and greens the same but wish players fix their divot some more. The rough on the side could need some cutting, hard to find balls when in the area. Staff always attentive and manage the start of the round well.

A Little Pushy

Stay on the fairway
The course was well maintained.. we played just after continuous rain so the green needed trimming but I have played here before where the green was well maintained. Try to stay on the fairway.. the rough is very rough. The pace of play is not great but if you are enjoying nature, this is the place to be. You occasionally see lots of deer.

Great day to play golf
Sun came out later part of playing and made it more enjoyable playing the course. The condition of the course generally on par with some tee boxes needing TLC. Staff always are friendly.

Course was very wet and muddy due to all of the rain

Beautiful golf course and the staff was extremely helpful especially the starter. The course is not overly difficult if you keep your ball in the fairway. The rough here was atleast a stoke and a half penalty. On several occasions I had lost balls. I would have given a higher rating if the fairways had been cut. Overall a good course and would play again.

Rough is to long
The rough needs to be cut shorter.
If you are not in fairway it is difficult to find your ball.
You have to be right on top of the ball to find it.
Too many lost balls that should not be.
Also slow play looking for your ball.

Wonderful course
I enjoyed the ample time of last tee. Only thing I didn't like was that cart return was rather early, even before the sunset. I played only 5 holes, and could have played 2 more holes with twilight left. Except that it was very good.
