Cowboys Golf Club

For it being December, the grass was in great shape. One green needed a little work but it didn’t detract from the experience. Only disappointment was the pro shop not having as much Cowboys merchandise as I would have imagined. Can’t wait to come back in the Spring and see the trees in bloom.

Showed up to pro shop. Employee confirmed pre-paid via GOLFNOW

Went to the bar. Had a few drinks. Hit a few on the range. Headed to first tee. Golf cart monitor/tv/display plays very cool Cowboys football amp up get excited video. I can see the starter. LARGE announcement comes onto the golf cart display “cart path only today” no warning. No communication from pro shop or any other employee. Starter also pulled me aside and said “yeah, unprofessional unacceptable”

Went back to pro shop, rude individual says yeah yeah, you wanna cancel, and not play. That’s between you & GOLFNOW

Can the experience or lack of care/concern be any worse? Nope! Still no refund. Still no care. Out $224

Overal I had a great experiece!

Staff in the snack house in the course did not have a good attitude other than that great experiece

Greens are FANTASTIC!

Great Layout- course needed a little water in some areas and one of the Par 5’s was under construction. Bartender could’ve been a little nicer and more attentive, but the Food was amazing.

Well to start let me say the course layout is fantastic. You’d never think you were in grapevine Texas with the slopes of the fairways and hills, and the course was beautiful. Greens were amazing, fairways were in great shape. Wasn’t quite as immaculate as I thought it would be with all the money I imagine being funneled into the course. Driving range is pretty bad honestly. They have your carts waiting for you with your names on them at the clubhouse which is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Our cart however crapped out on the very first hole in the fairway and would only go in reverse. That left a very sour taste in my mouth right off the rip as we had a late tee time and then struggled to finish 18 holes without feeling very rushed. 80$ for a late tee time once or twice a year I would totally do again, but I don’t think I would ever pay the full rate to play there.

Used to be a great course and a better value. Staff was ok but not overly friendly. Course was in ok condition but not as good as it was in the past. I’d rather play 4-6 other courses for less money before playing this course again.

Greens were sandy and in terrible shape.. On hole had the "hole" on the fairway since the green was under construction. The practice tees were also under construction. They forgot part of the meal that was included in the green fee amenities. I called to complain but they blew me off like they didn't care about the players' experience. They got their money so, no problem for them.

The golf course was in phenomenal condition only drawback was speed of play was a bit slow we were waiting on the 2 groups ahead of us a lot of the time at one point all three groups were on the same tee box

We played the course November of 2020 and had great memories. Played it yesterday and what a let down. Cart path only for no reason, sanded greens, temporary green on number 2., another green under repair. Lack of staff at bag drop. Overall the course was rough. No warnings on web site. For over $200 per person this is not worth it. Having played the Texas Rangers course on Sunday there is no question which is now our favorite

What the course lacks in terms of a top-level championship golf course, it makes up in the customer experience of the "Cowboys" themed course and the unlimited food and beverage option (exclusive of alcohol and cigars). Seeing all of the Cowboy's memorabilia makes this a course you will want to play at least once.

Way over priced for course condition. Layout is good. Greens are fast and smooth. Fairways grass are too thin. I played here before but bc my friends wanted to play here today bc they never played it before that’s why I joined them. But for $200/rd with that kind of fairways condition is not worth the price.
