Great Course
One of my favorite courses around Lexington. Always in great shape with an amazing layout.
Love this course
I love this golf course. Slope and design of the course is one of, if not, my favorite of the surrounding counties. With them going private, I truly hope it doesn’t ruin the course and sincerely wish them well… I’ll certainly miss playing here.
Greens were fast for this time of the year (oddly, I still don’t think they’ve punched them), some frustrating tee boxes but those will be sorted out soon as they’ve already started aeration process on some of them, great carts, looove the course layout and slope difficulty. Little pricey by the standard greens cost, but I scored with a pretty sweet hot deal.
All great except for the pace.
Second time playing course this week. Still in great condition however the pace was extremely slow. First time experiencing this at Boones Trace. Hopefully it was a one off.

One of my favorite courses on the planet. Great experience.
Great track!!
What a gem to find while traveling through Kentucky!! This track is located off the beaten path in a very quaint housing community. As soon as you drive in you know that you're going to get a great experience. Awesome golf carts with GPS, very smooth pace of play for the amount of people on the course and the staff was top notch. I was able to get a great price through Golf Now and wasn't disappointed. If you have a chance to golf here book a tee time!!

Dang those golf carts. I mean seriously. Yea the seat is nicely cushioned. But they make riding a cart miserable. Lift the restrictions on it.
I prefer the cut up seat, busted windshield, gas sucking, rubber burning, poorly aligned old carts from 3 years ago.

A Great Golfing Experience
Boone Trace offers a great golfing experience for all levels of players. This a a challenging layout and requires very club in the bag and a focus for every shot. The hilly terrain has some blind shots, but their new carts alert you to the golfers location. The carts are state of the art. The course was well manicured and the greens were in great condition.
Put this course on your list of “must play” in Lexington, KY. I know I will!
