Canoa Ranch Golf Club

First of all the course teamed me up with a member Art. Art is 88 years old and tried to kick my butt in 9 holes he played. He was very helpful & courteous! I will look him up when I return to Tucson.

The course was great, except for sand traps. No sand & like a rock. It is a shame as the rest of the course is great, Art even made the comment many members play the sand traps as ground under repair & drop outside of them.

The greens were smooth and extremely fast!

Tee boxes work out and beat to pieces

Bunker were nothing but gravel pits. Absolutely

LOUSY and un-maintained, no sand but lots of mud & rocks. Yamaha Gas carts were worst vehicle choice

for a comfortable ride on a lousy golf course. This is

a 3 strikes golf course any more. Moving back to SI!

Very nice course to play; however pace of play maddening....at some holes, groups on T, fairway greens..

Need some one to keep pace of play at four hours...We finished in five.

Love the layout and views. The traps are terrible. How about some sand in them?

One would think that with the desert sand abundant that the bunkers wouldn't be rock hard dirt.

The foursome in front of us was extremely slow. There was no course ranger to monitor their slow play. It was horrible. They should have moved up a tee box as well. Most of the time it took almost 15 minutes between shots. Absolutely atrocious! Very frustrating round.

Course was beautiful. Only thing that could be better is sand traps. They were so hard that I was able to putt out of them most of the time

We really enjoyed the golf course!

Specially the 18th hole

The only suggestion would be to add cups, olives so we can drink our micheladas better (😂 }

The course is in mostly good playing condition. The restaurant is nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great Proshop.

Staff let a group go without a scheduled tee time in front of us. Then later we were told to pick up the pace because a group 3 back were mad. Can only play as fast as the group in front and also over booked. No water to clean balls and no grass.

Traps are full of rocks …greens have different kinds of grass although they rolled well. (Looked worse than they were)

It was slow today …not sure why.

We enjoyed our time golfing. The staff was very friendly and quick with getting us checked in and we went to the driving range for a bit. We all lost about 4-5 balls each into the weeds/cactus/water and just left them. The patio and dining area are beautiful and we will try to get back there for lunch or dinner sometime.

This course is fun, but requires accuracy. Lots of places to lose balls.

Sand traps are terrible...calling them a sand trap is an insult to sand. They should be played as ground under repair.
