Canoa Ranch Golf Club

First time playing. Best part was the vista. Beautiful scenery with some holes make you feel like you are in the middle of undisturbed desert . Course is very playable if you can drive fairly consistently. It’s not a long course and the fairways are reasonably wide. Distance is not premium but it’s not for beginners as you will have to carry some distance on some of your tee shots. The course is not in the best shape but in good shape. I thought the greens were a little slow and has many ball marks but I like fast green.

It’s worth a visit just for the scenery and golf is good too. You cannot walk this course - its not designed for walking.

Beautiful day for golf, no clouds and 85 degrees, perfect. Canoa is one of our favorite courses in Green Valley. Coming out of overseeing the course was in pretty good shape except that some of the greens looked a little moth-eaten. Pace of play was okay, got a late start (30 minutes) as they had a tournament with more participants than expected? Nice course layout with a few challenging holes, just enough to keep your interest. If your in Green Vally its worth your time to play this course.

Well kept course except for the sand traps. Hard and lots of rocks. Could not play out of them. One par three had some problem with bare spots. Outside of that was great! Thank You!

Canoa Ranch is playable. There are scars on a few greens and the greens putt slow. The sand (rock) traps are impossible to play out of. We play them all as ground under repair (which is appropriate given there condition).

The views are amazing and the course provides challenges, but playable and enjoyable for all golfers.

Fairways in very good shape.

Greens are in need of work and some in terrible shape.

I am not sure that I have seen the greens in such poor shape.

We choose the right tees to play and enjoyed a round that fit our handicapp level. Greens were a little on the slow side but within reason. Good course to use a variety of clubs.

I had a great experience probably due to the fact that I haven’t shot in the 70’s in years (79) the course had just come out of over seeding so there were a couple bare spots and the greens were a bit long but other than that the fairways were green. I do think that it was overpriced for this course but hey I broke 80 so I can’t be that mad

The views from Canoa are gorgeous. This is a very tough course, you have got to stay in the gateways.

The greens were very slow and need to be rolled.

I need lots more rounds before I pay here again.

It was a great price of $38.

Staff was almost nasty about not letting us check in more than 15 minutes before out hit deal tee time. It was more important for them to make a point then provide good customer service. Mo sand in the traps. Greens were in tough shape. I like this course and will play again, but today was disappointing.

The bunkers are absolutely terrible! No sand and a lot of big rocks

This was a beautiful golf course well laid out and challenging. The bunkers need more sand. I understand that i played after winter seeding which made fairways and greens little slow but it was nice and green.

Course is really drying out as they are getting ready for over seeding next week. Sand bunkers are still in bad shape. Hoping for some improvement after over seeding is finished. The course is still for sale I think so maybe they don't want to put too much money into improvements.

The course was on better condition than the last play, good pace of playing
