North Course
Great track! I would recommend to anyone able to come out here to play.
Overpriced. GolfNow price did not include cart
Not bad for a public course but staff told me it it wasn’t “too wet” which was not the case. Way over priced for the conditions.
Wet but good
With all the rain the past two weeks the course held up fairly well. There were wet spots to be sure but very playable. Really impressed with the greens and bunkers. Good course to play when wet for the remainder of winter.
I will play again
The fairways were hard an the ball bounced any way
The greens were good. rough not that bad.
All day everyday
Track is in great condition with the dry summer we have had. Greens were true. Well worth the drive to Burlington.
Nice Course
Considering the lack of rain we have had the course was in excellent condition. There are numerous tee boxes for every skill level. The greens were in good shape and very receptive. A good course. Worth the hour drive.
Very average course, dead grass everywhere
Second time playing this course and most likely might be my last just as it is far away and not worth the 1hr+ drive up north from Kirkland/Redmond/Bellevue area.
Disappointed with how much dead grass there was everywhere including the fairways. Overall the course wasn’t easy on the eyes which definitely deterred from the overall experience. Greens were oddly firm yet bumpy and I had trouble holding greens, even with a full sand wedge approach.
Overall there are waaaay better options available for the money as well as course conditions you can play without having to drive an 1-2hrs north depending where you live.
Always worth the drive
One of my favorite courses in Washington, quiet, serene, a great walk in nature….and you get to play golf while enjoying it!
Hot April day, amazing course, fun times
So it went from 50 to 80 in a week and man was it a contrast. The course is beautiful the staff was friendly. . If I only I could chip. A lot of elevated greens where you have to come in from above. I failed miserably. Greens were fast and firm...well worth the drive from Tacoma. The pace of play was my only issue. In the words of the terminator, "I'll be back"
Lack of staff
First 9 holes on the West 9 took 2.5 hours. No Marshall was present. Went to turn to the south 9 and noticed a threesome were about to tee off. They were starting their round but were lost and no staff in site to assist them. It's like they sent out all the golfers and went home. Enjoy the layout and the three 9's but the lack of staff/help is a big drawback.
Always a favorite
Avalon has Brennan a consistent favorite for 20 years. Always well maintained and best greens in the State.
A true gem of Washington State
In spite of the huge downpours the night before, course played surprisingly dry.
