About
Designed by Rees Jones, Broad Run Golfer's Club boasts one of the best layouts in the area. The course sprawls across over 370 acres of rolling hills countryside. The dramatic elevations are definitely not something you would expect from a golf course that is conveniently situated so close to downtown Philadelphia. The elevated tees feel as though they're in the clouds and mature trees frame most of the holes. There are hazards lurking throughout the golf course including swampy marshlands and tall, dense grasses that are all just waiting to swallow errant shots. It is a challenging layout no doubt but it is made more player friendly with generous fairways and Jones was also light on the bunkering. One of the most difficult and scenic holes is the par-5 15th. This hole plays uphill, featuring a blind tee shot to a plateau green surrounded by trees.

Nice Course, but Expensive
It's a nice course, but even with the Hot Deal, it was twice the cost of other local courses. There were a couple holes where you couldn't hit driver from the tee but then you had a 200+ yard second shot to reach the green. They started us on #11. We played 11-18, then 10, and then the front nine. I've never seen that before. They said they did it because #10 was a par 3. Why not just start on #1?
Bang for the Buck
Broad Run is my local course but has been at $99 this year with COVID. I found the $45 price and jumped on it. This is a beautiful course and is always in great shape. It was hot and some holes are challenging, but it is always a great round at Broad Run.

First time playing here but it won’t be my last! Incredible course layout in great condition and a very good pace of play. Course is challenging but not too difficult, would definitely recommend!
Day golfing
Very nice course first time playing ,does have some hidden holes, sure be better next time, lot pretty holes on course, only thing and just because so hot today, could maybe had cart person or place purchase water, as had wait until made turn, but not hot like this every day. Other that challenges course, green slow think due heat maybe so being water lot, which need do. But most putts I miss probably the operator fault, could use bigger diameter holes. But great day golf.
This course is a gem
First time golfing this course it is a masterpiece to say the least. Would totally recommend this to anyone.
Great course. Pricey but worth it.
The money definitely goes into the upkeep. Plus, it’s gorgeous layout and great views. That 17th hole is a treasure.
Slow, slow, slow
10:20 t-time resulted in a 51/2 hr round on a wed. No excuse for that. No Marshall speeding play.. The two groups in front of us were together and playing for money . They were not good and took forever to get to green then were pathetically slow on putting. 3 holes open in front of these 2 groups. A lot of blind shots. Drive missed me by 5 yards over a rise from tee. SCARY! Take a ride up and make sure group in front has cleared, don’t hurt anyone!! I didn’t see you don’t cut it. Challenging course , haven’t had a 51/2 hr round in

One of the best around southeastern PA
If you want a challenge from the tips, and good quality greens, try this course. Worth the money, and one of the best public spots in Southeastern PA.
Excellent layout and great staff
Beautiful Rees Jones design. Bent grass tee boxes, fairways and green. All in excellent shape. Very friendly staff. Excellent, challenging layout, very nice greens. Not a walkable course at all, so don’t go there looking for that. I can’t wait to play it again!
Best Course in the Area by Far
This is one of those courses that is beautiful and also visually intimidating. If you keep your wits about you and don’t get caught up in how tough it looks, you can play well and shoot a good score.
