Blue Heron Golf Course

The condition is pretty good now comparing some better rated course.

I’ve been playing this course for 35 years. It keeps getting better. Back in the day it was a fun low budget course but the winters just beat it up so bad that they couldn’t keep up. New owners with money came in and turned things around. A new clubhouse with a nice deck for outside seating and a restaurant that serves good food. The only issue is it’s location and the fact that not enough people come out to play. If there was a little more play revenue would increase and then they could mow and roll as needed. On Tuesday it was good but the greens and fairways needed more maintenance. Slow greens and longish fairways. Not pure but a fun track with nice views .

I was greeted by the front desk a very nice welcome! My wife and I had a great time unfortunately didn’t get to take a vantage of the beautiful deck and have a beer!

Tee boxes beat up, fairways and rough were uncut. Greens were in terrible condition, crabgrass on them with lots of holes on the green.

I’m going to say that this time was a better experience. Someone replied to my last review stating that I was being rude to the staffs, and it wasn’t me. The person replying to me wasn’t even have the courtesy to show the name. Don’t assume it because of the name.

I would thank the Blue Heron for replying to my review. I just wanted state the miscommunication part. That’s all.

I've played Blue Heron 3 times, and while it's "passable", it's certainly not well kept. On most holes it's almost impossible to find your ball even on the fairway! They do not maintain the grass very well, there is always very thick grass. If you're not on the fairway, finding your ball is almost impossible. When it's wet you will not get your ball out of the rough. Pin placement on the greens is usually very frustrating, your putts will be very difficult with a lot of break.

The staff is so incredibly nice, it's a shame the course just isn't worth the frustration. Beautiful location with lovely scenery including wildlife. That being said, the frustration of looking for my ball for 10 minutes after every shot will keep me from going back.

This continues to be a little gem of golf. Where you can practice all phases of the game. I teed off at 6:40 AM on a Sunday there was only one other person there to play. You can walk In Peace in the beautiful trees, fairways, and greens. This will be my main practice golf course to keep my swings in the best shape possible. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The fairways and rough are not always in the best condition, but the round of 18 will keep your mind and body exercised.

They charged my for a cart then told me they were out and never gave me one or a refund. The place was also so full of mosquitos that I had to leave after 9 holes. The greens were not maintained either it was like putting on the fringe. Would not recommend to anyone

Me and my wife played recently and it was an amazing experience, the young man running the pro shop was doing a superb job and was one of the friendliest pro shop attendants I’ve had. The staff in the kitchen was extremely friendly and recommended the best chicken sandwich I’ve had. We also witnessed a customer become extremely irate with with the young man in the pro shop and his manager. Keep at it guys don’t let one bad customer take away from the otherwise amazing business your running. Good work!

We reserved 9 AM tee time for two. We showed up the and there were three foursomes all have tee times at 9 am. The pro-shop didn’t know what happened and didn’t offer any solutions. Plus the other lady from the pro-shop said there’s supposed to be a tournament that day and said we could only play 9-hole but didn’t explain why and when. All of the carts were not available and all the pull carts are almost out. We played on until hole #16 and the tournament participants showed up. We couldn’t continue.

This was really communication between GN and the course management. The pro-shop should’ve offer us to come back with another time with credit. The lady came across as if it’s our fault. GN should provide us some credit on this reservation.

Grass overgrown, lost balls in center of fairway! Roughs were impossible. Where mowed, huge clumps of grass. And, lots of mosquitoes. Was a reminder that low price is not necessarily value.

Quit after 9

Because of the overgrown grass in the fairways and rough, it was not an enjoyable round. We shouldn’t have to search for balls in the fairway. A few feet into the 6+ inch rough and the ball was gone. Spent more searching for balls in the fairway than actually golfing. If they can mow it and keep away from US Open rough conditions, then it could be a nice little course.

The grass in the fairway had not been cut so it was almost impossible to find your ball. I went through many golf balls because I couldn’t find them in the deep grass including the ones I hit down the middle. It just seems like the course could have been in better shape .

Good value and pace of play. The course is drying out nicely and greens are coming along. The grass is a little shaggy on a lot of the course though.

So I live not far away from this course I have played since I was a kid of about 10 or 12 years old. I used to go by Carnation golf course and was under different ownership ..so I am familiar with the track and the conditions and I just don't expect much in the ways of great conditions or pure greens . .. it sits on basicly clay in the southern end of the flood prone Snoqualmie valley..being the head greens keeper or any of the crew responsible for maintenance must feel frustrating and pointless at times .it changed ownership se real years ago or a bit longer the food has improved a bit but the course is still what it is where it is ..it's golf in cow pastures .. I had a hot deal tee time with a monthly tee time discount of a. Additional discount of 10 bucks brought my total to 14 and some change including a cart .. I couldn't see myself paying any more than that to play this course and if it was not in my back yard practically , I might never play it .. the round was nice thevweather was finally warm and I had fun regardless of it not looking like aldarra or Sahalee. Staff were friendly and it's a low key vibe .. great place to bringbthe kids and see if they get hooked on the game ... The one positive this I do like is the range...it's grass ish and good sized with pra Tice areas at the other end way down range ..
