Traveled from Roswell GA to Alabama for the first time. Just picked the course randomly from list online. It did not disappoint me. The course was well maintained and layout was pretty challenging. But, it was fun. Facility was cool for being a city course. Pace of play was horrible on the back 9. Was waiting around every hole. Food at grill definitely could be better prepared. Not that hard to put a little more effort or attention to have napkins and sauce in a bag for guests.

Great staff and facilities. Course needs work

Overall we had a good experience at Ballantrae. Staff was excellent. The price was good so we thought we would give it a shot. The fairways were in pretty poor shape and the greens were extremely slow. I did how ever love the layout of the course. I would hope in time the conditions will improve on the course for a better experience. I can see the potential of this place being a pretty good course. Overall I would recommend to others based on Staff, Facilities and layout.

GREAT OUTING

It’s was a great outing with my golfing buddies…. I hope We can do it again soon!!!! Course was nice for the price…just didn’t care for the cart path only but I do understand! This was my second time playing and I love the green for a public course
