Ballantrae Golf Club

It was a fun course, despite the rain on the front 9. The greens were in great shape.. The only negative I have to say is that the fairways need a little TLC. Weeds are growing everywhere.

Overall we had a good experience at Ballantrae. Staff was excellent. The price was good so we thought we would give it a shot. The fairways were in pretty poor shape and the greens were extremely slow. I did how ever love the layout of the course. I would hope in time the conditions will improve on the course for a better experience. I can see the potential of this place being a pretty good course. Overall I would recommend to others based on Staff, Facilities and layout.

Wonderful golf course, especially for the price. Greens are in great shape. Favorite place to play in the Birmingham area.

It’s was a great outing with my golfing buddies…. I hope We can do it again soon!!!! Course was nice for the price…just didn’t care for the cart path only but I do understand! This was my second time playing and I love the green for a public course

Enjoyed our round and played with a friendly, helpful member. Need an electronic Garmin or some other device as no hole pictures and few markers available.

Every person we encountered could not have been nicer. The course has some drainage issues but overall in good condition

We played the course in 2022 and vowed to come back in 2023. We came back and enjoyed another great round.

We plan to come back again. This is a great course for the value.

Ballantrae is a great course. The greens are in wonderful condition and you the Par 3s are the best feature with sand bunkers and water around the greens. Makes for an exciting shot!
