Ballantrae Golf Club

There had been loads of rain so cart path only was a bit slow and depending on the golfer can be frustrating. Overall Ballantrae is a really nice course and presents various challenges along the way.

My worse hole always is number 15… over water to the pin close to an incline next to water….

Loads of fun and difficulty depending on the hole.

Course was awesome! Great layout, challenging but not overpowering. Only two negatives.

Pace of play, for a course this nice they need a marshal out there. We had the worlds slowest twosome in front of my group, at one point there were 3 groups waiting on them to putt out and they were talking to the cart girl and generally good timing it. Lack of etiquette on their part but also something a marshal could take care of. Also it was cart path only but that’s not really the courses fault per se and was more of a necessity as they had a lot of rain the day before so everything was soggy. If’s recommend calling if there’s been a lot of rain and you don’t want to walk just to be sure. Other than that awesome course and I will be back!

Best deal in the area! Course conditions were phenomenal, greens were perfect and rolled true, and the staff is always amazing.

This was one of the nicest and plush golf courses I have played, for being end of June the course was in great shape. The greens were true and the fairways wide.

I’d give this course a 6 star for everything except pace of play. It was incredibly slow, but I absolutely LOVED the course, enough so that I will go back many times regardless of how slow

Course was in great shape and only issue was pace of play from a group a few holes ahead. It was a hot day but they were in no hurry and played the rounds in 4 and a half hours which isn't terrible but not great either.

Well maintained. Some grass clippings on a few fairways. Great layout and challenging pin placement. Mid to High end community/championship course but great value for the price. Staff was VERY welcoming. We’ll be back.
