About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Twisted Dune
We enjoyed the course, and it was in good shape. The issue was we were already at a 5 hour pace of play and stacked up on the 18th behind the other groups. Other than that issue the course is great!
Too many rocks in the bunkers
There are many reasons that a course can't be in perfect condition but excessive amounts of rocks in bunkers are not part of the game. I don't have a sponsor who can replace a $1500 set of clubs or $350 worth of wedges. OK so we change the game and lift out of bunkers to adjust. Is this to be expected. There is always some excuse they can create.
Challenging course layout
Price is very reasonable. Course are challenging. 4.5 stars
Pretty Good Shape - Traps Need Work
Fairways and greens are in good condition. Pace of play was a problem but not much can be done as it is a vacation destination crowd in many instances. Still a good value and the layout is better than most
Different style of course
Course was fun to play, first timers will have trouble not knowing where to hit it as you have to use your brain more than most courses. That being said a lot of challenging holes, course in good conditions, 4.5 hrs pace of play. Well worth playing. Will definitely play again.
Great course; Extremely Stupid Water Restrictions
We vacation in Ocean City every year and play Twisted a couple of times each year. Love the experience. We played on a 95 degree day. We had a cooler of 4 water bottles with ice packs. The cart guys were adamant not allowing coolers with water. “We have a cart attendant and water jugs on all par 3’s”. Got to the 3rd hole. A couple drops of water came out of the jug. I understand refusing to allow liquor on courses, but refusing water bottles in a cooler when it’s 95 is Stupid.
Congrats on finally getting your liquor license, now you’ll have to figure out how to properly use it.
It was a great day on a beautiful course!
Long course with a great layout. We really enjoyed the amenities and the staff was friendly.
One of my favorite Links courses
I always enjoy , twisted Dunes. They do may effort to make sure pace of play is good for all. Course in great shape .
