Twisted Dune Golf Club

About
The golf course at the Twisted Dune Golf Club is a public, 18-hole course that is reminiscent of traditional Scottish courses. Located right on the Jersey Shore, Twisted Dune Golf Club is popular for it's beautiful views and challenging game. The deep ravines and grassy hills provide picturesque scenery and they also create interesting hazards for a good game.
Twisted Dune Golf Club lives up to his name with its twisting links-style layout, elevation changes, and rolling fairways. The golf course has par-5 holes that stretch over 500 yards as well as several par-4's and par-3's. The course also has wide fairways and large greens of bent grass.

Nice Course, Great Value and Challenging
We found this course on GolfNow while on our way to Atlantic City. We wanted to play 9 holes late afternoon before we arrived at our hotel. Twisted Dune offered 9 holes with cart at 5 pm for $30.00, about 15 miles from AC. Turned out to be a great deal. The staff was outstanding, starting from the bag drop at the cart station, to the pro shop, at the bar, and on the course. Very friendly and accommodating to first time visitors. Golf course was challenging, yet fair. White tees were about 6200 yards. Wide fairways and large undulating greens but punishing if you miss the fairway. Many deep bunkers protecting the greens. Our only "complaint" is the bunkers are filled with hard packed dirt and many stones. Being so close to the beach, we would have expected bunkers with soft beach-type sand that you can blast out of, especially in those with steep faces. Beyond that, it was a great experience, and we would definitely like to play there again.
Great round
First time playing Twisted Dune, had heard and read really good reviews. It did not disappoint. The course condition was excellent, pace of play was excellent, we did not have a grip behind pushing us and did not have a slow group in front. Definitely will be going back this summer and fall.
Great Track in Soth Jersey
Played Twisted Dunes many time and have never had a bad experiencing. The course is fantastic, just like it sounds! No tree lined fairways just scrub brush. Fairways and greens are massive!! Staff is always super friendly and accommodating.
One thing to remember the course is in a dry town so its BYOB only!
Definitely my favorite course amongst all of the others in the area.
Great course!
Love this course- great layout and excellent condition. Play it!
Great Course
Highly recommend this course. Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Have to keep the ball in play.
Lots of waste areas that will take your ball if hit there!
my favorite
this course is my favorite because its fun to play but not just that the entire staff makes your day better regardless of how you played starting with Jim the general manager who takes as good of care of his guests as he does the course, when arriving the friendly, welcoming faces of Damen, Erick , and others when you arrive and when you leave, there is Melissa who does everything she can to be helpful along with others in the pro shop and Chris on the range as well as other starters to make sure your round is going smoothly. a big thank you to all the staff who treats all as VIP"s
BluEdge Golf Outing
Our group just loved the course and the staff was just outstanding. Definitely will make this a corse we revisit.
Links allthe way
The course was carved out of an old sand quarry. It is creative, reasonably well groomed and challenging. No bar or restaurant, although alcohol can be carried. I always feel challenged here. The course design makes every hole its own with little lateral distraction from other holes. It can be hot since there are no trees.
Twisted Dune Company Outing
If you are a golf purest this course is for you. Overall I would highly recommend this course.
Better this time
Played here 4 summers ago. Course was pretty beat up and play was slow. Playing late Spring was huge difference. Greens a bit slow but course was tight and in great shape. The par 4s start to look the same after a while but for 60 bucks, a great midweek deal. Had the whole course to ourselves on an 8am midweek start.
