Great shape - Starter with an attitude!
The coarse was in fantastic shape and the greens were in good shape for this time of the year.
Bonnie at the check in desk was very friendly and had a great attitude. HOWEVER, when I completed the round with my son, the starter asked I if I needed my clubs clean I told him, “No thanks I’m all good.” He proceeded to look at my son and in a very snotty tone said, “I guess that mean your all good too.” He walked away ranting about us not needing our clubs cleaned.
Attitude adjustment needed for this gentleman.
My Round
Extremely Poor Weather Conditions. It rained out entire round, Was not enjoyable to play. Would have been nice if we were given a rain check!
Twisted Dunes 8/25/21
Nice course mostly wide friendly fairways, don’t go left or right off the fairways. Many large deep bunkers. With very rocky sand. Greens were soft and slow but playable. Not enough people filling in their fairway divots. Fairways nice soft no weeds not much roll. Only played front 9. Would play again.
A little bit of Scotland
Twisted Dune is a diamond in the rough.
The course was in excellent shape, checkin was easy and staff was fantastic and welcoming. Came in from Delaware to play
Players were impatient and having a starter and ranger would have helped.
No ice available on a 90+ degree day was my only complaint.
It was a challenge for a first timer but I would definitely come back and try again.
Definitely worth the travel and cost!!
Great layout
Have played this course numerous times and the layout is Great!!! Played August 19th and the course was in good shape. Pace of play excellent 4:10. Greens a little slow but with temperatures in the 90s that is to be expected. Love this course!!!
Fair shape
Greens and tees only in fair shape. Seems like
too much play took a toll. Miss the fairway and you are punished!
Nice course but very slow round
First time here. Nice layout links style with lots of fescue and wide open fairways. Easy to get in trouble and I lost about 5 balls in the fescue. If it were not for the excessive heat and waiting times between holes ( we were a foursome and there was an incredibly slow Threesome in front of us) I would have enjoyed this course much more. The greens were challenging amd undulating and not fast at all. Overall a fun course that I will play again. The cart person could make rounds a little bit more howeve.
Great little track
Tough pin position today. Forces you to make the shot it calls for base on pin location. Need to hit the shot otherwise it will cost you a stroke or more. Love it because it made it interesting.
Worth the money!
Let’s face it, $99 dollars for a round of golf is expensive. That Ben said, when you play a track that is this well laid out and in such great shape, it’s worth every penny! The fairways were in great shape and the greens were well groomed and in perfect condition! Don’t miss this one!!
