Golfer Reviews
What a shame.
This is a great layout with interesting challenges in every hole. I always appreciated how meticulously maintained and beautiful this track was. Sadly, this responsible now don't seem to know what they're doing. The fairways have been cut to nubs and the result is hardpan throughout. The greens have been destroyed and now are dried up patchy remnants of a once glorious course. I hope they can bring it back by next season. I won't return this year.
Poor greens
I have always loved the challenging layout of the course but the maintenance of the greens have always been terrible. Better to call the course first before you pay the service charge fee for GolfNow.
Great Course, Great Views
This is one of my favorite courses. The views were excellent, and the course was in great shape. My son and I had a great round. The only issue was that the pace of play was pretty slow...
Druids Glen Golf Course
Value was good because it included a cart; however, the course layout is not great and some of the greens were in bad shape - so that is why I don't recommend it.
Great course, but the greens need work ~
The course overall was in fair shape, but about half of the greens were in very rough condition, some even bare.
Green is HORRIBLE!!!
Druids Glen used to be my favor course! i used to come here once a month
but this year all change, course condition is HORRIBLE!!!
my first game in Druids glen is 5/26, they have many green in repair
but staff didn't tell me when i check in.
first time i forgive them cause season just start.
but when i book my tee time last week i even call to pro shop and check with their staff, they said green are all repaired and condition is good.
and i went today with my friend. condition is very bad, some green you can't even putt ur ball straight, you can see the picture i upolad. some green are even worst.
honestly, i rather they rise their price to $60 and take care the course.
otherwise i wont' come again.
Really a pleasing surprise
GPS in golf cart told how far the cart was from the pin on each hole. A really great feature and good restaurant. Gave the wife and I a wonderful day together.
Green conditions ???
Greens were in horrible condition(along with some fairways). Heavy amounts of sand and seed. Frustrating for a course that charges what they do.
Good course but greens need work
Druids has been one of my favorite courses for a long time. It's a nice track and generally in good shape. The greens were spotty this time around though with many bare patches making for some inconsistent rolls and speeds.
Course Conditions
The course is currently in the worst condition of any course I've played in the last 10 years. The greens were unplayable -- basically, they were dead. Hole 7 had a temporary green, which was even worse than the rest of them. Hole 9 had mounds of dirt all around it -- they were digging out the lake and throwing the dirt around the green, making access almost impossible.
In its current condition, I wouldn't recommend this course at any price.
Great bones, needs a lot of work
I have played this course several times over the past few years and it has slowly gone downhill. The layout of the course is phenomenal and it is in a quiet setting. Besides just a couple of greens the rest of them were almost unplayable. There were huge patches of dirt so I felt like it was planko on some of the putts. I was told it was because of the wet winter but having played about 15 other courses in the area I haven't seen any of the other ones have issues. I got a good deal on the price and I am glad I did because I would have been disappointed paying full price. They do have a great tap selection for after your round and the employees are friendly, it is just a shame that such as great course has fallen so far.
Great course but greens in rough shape
I love this course but the greens were in aweful shape. They lost quite a bit of greens due to frost (or so I was told by greens keepers) and the putting surfaces are a long way from recovering. Although the greens keepers were trying to do thier best. I will not play it again until late summer, hopeful they'll get them back. BTW, a note in advance about the greens would have been nice.
Done for the year
Played this course 20+ times. This will not rebound for the entire summer. 4 of 18 greens were playable. No sign of maintenance that will help these Greens moving forward. Bar and cart staff were the only highlight of the day.
Called beforehand to check playability. Pro shop informed 1 temp green... safe to say all but 4 were ok...
Pretty sad. Normally a fun layout and great views.
One of my favorite courses
The greens are in dire need of repairs, but an alert was on the website so we knew going in that something was up with them. We got a very good price with cart. Not including the greens, the course was in great shape. Always a challenge if you don't stay in middle of fairway. I love Druids Glen. One of my favorite courses in Washington.
