Refuge
Course was in pretty nice shape. Pace of play for a Thursday morning tee time was painfully slow- 4:40.

I’m done playing here
The entire round was spent waiting. The whole course was stacked. The round took over 5 hours. Maybe space tee times a bit farther apart. Honestly, I want my money back. It wasn’t enjoyable to wait 10 minutes at every tee. You lost a loyal customer. By the looks of it, you lost a few yesterday.

Challenging but fair
The Refuge is always well maintained from the tee boxes to the green. The bunkers are some of the most forgiving in the state, ranks equally with courses that cost 2-3 times more!

Refuge
Course was in good condition. A couple low spots very wet from recent rain. A couple greens had some rough spots on them. In another week, leaves will be in full color and very scenic. Nice Fall round of golf!

Nice Course, Terrible Pace of Play
Course was in nice condition but our threesome was on pace for a 6 hour round. It took 2 hours for the first 6 holes. Skipped #8 and #9 and still took 5 hours to get done.

Great out of town course
Course is in great condition, forward tees give ladies a chance to keep up with the guys. Quite challenging for the guys.

Great course overall. It was maintained very nicely, and it had a nice level of challenge to it. Staff was all very friendly as well.

The refuge is a very nice golf course, The staff is very friendly. It’s nice that the carts have GPS in them so you can know how far away from the green just by pulling up to your ball. This is my new go too course!

You better know where your driver is going
Easy to find, easy check in, nice facility, carts good but no sand bottle, no bucket for our towels and no drinking water on course, but this is MN, few ball washers and garbage baskets, tees were really beat for such a nice looking course, sometimes hard to find a decent spot to hit from on par 3s, fairways good, bunkers have nice sand, greens roll nice and fairly fast and seemingly few straight putts, good price on GN, poor pace at 5 hrs today, good partners today but they lost a lot of balls, if your going to hit it far you better know where it is going, can't drive carts in parking lot, and then they want you return them below the clubhouse even farther away when you are done and tired, no sand buckets on par 3s either, positives I think outweigh the negatives , but this course could be even nicer with a little better upkeep and our help if they would let us, and lastly a few holes with pretty long carries and I think I am playing from the correct tees

Slow pace
Really enjoy this coarse. Great condition and fun to play. But, the pace of play was terrible. We golfed the last 3 holes or so in almost dark and the sprinklers were on by the time we got to the 18th hole.

Very nice course. Really enjoyed the layout and scenery. The course was in terrific condition other than some low wet spots which is understandable with all the rain. I played early in the morning and the only real complaint I have was only one of the greens had been mowed when I played and so I was putting on wet greens the whole round. I teed off around 7am. Other than that the course was beautiful and challenging.

Really nice course...
We weren't sure what to expect after our 45 minute drive from the Twin Cities. But, it was indeed worth the drive. This course has such a different layout with all the marshes and wood boardwalks. Excellent greens and fairways.
We will be going back.
One of the best in the twin cities
One of my overall favorite courses. Beautiful course. Quite course with a lot of nature. Challenging greens. Makes you use every club in your bag. 9/10 in my book.
