Battle Ground Golf Club

This place has always been in good shape when I played in the May was the first time I've never seen it nice. Playing it again in June it was in pretty good shape.

If this is supposed to be the new "city" course or Lafayette public golf course it has nothing for junior golfers high prices for juniors and no first tee or jr PGA no camps I know of disappointing in that respect.

The course was in great condition. The greens were fairly slow, but consistent. The fairways are wide and a bit too close together with other fairways in my opinion. The price was a bit high for the caliber of the course, IMO. Still, I had a great time and would recommend if someone liked this type of layout.

I didn't see any foods at the club house. I'm not sure if I just missed it, but I was looking for a quick bite. So if that is the case, don't go starting your round hungry!!!

Staff was not friendly when they found out I booked on golfnow. Course is flat with nothing too it. Rough hasn’t been cut and flies and insects swarm your head the whole round!

Anyone playing the course will find a well maintained course with beautiful fairways and a variety of greens.

The course has a variety of holes, lengths, and elevations. The back nine, in many ways, is a different golf course. I think you'll enjoy.

To begin, I had an ideal day to play. The temperature was in the low 70's with a strong breeze. The course is in amazing shape. The holes are long but very straight-forward. The green's roll is very true and they vary in size and difficulty.

Course was in great shape. Well maintained. Pace was slow could use rangers to address pace of play.

I think the course is a bit rough in appearance and the greens are somewhat beat up. On the first tee, I was ready to tee off when two players approached behind me. Thinking they were part of the Golfnow reservation time, I asked them if they were to join me in the round. They said they were coming from the back nine as the starter had set them off on the back nine first. This crowded the front nine for almost the entire first half of the round making the pace of play uncomfortable.

All in all, I would not choose to play another round at this course nor recommend it to anyone either.

great course. I would play it every day if I lived close. Some longer holes but it plays short because of perfect fairways. Greens were a little slow but the ran straight as a string.

The course, its fairways and rough, is in beautiful shape. The tee boxes are becoming dried out. The greens have great grass but are bumpy on some holes.

Course was in great shape considering it's the first week of April. Some greens were a little bumpy but a few more weeks of warmer weather will help the grass grow better. Battle Ground is an intriguing layout, tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and many large bunkers. A very underrated golf course that should be on every golfers "must play" list.

Battle Ground has always been vastly underrated for the west central Indiana area. Nicely conditioned, and nice layout. Probably not as pristine as it was since the owner donated it to the city, but still nice.

Course was in fantastic shape. No weeds or crabgrass. Fairways were in remarkable shape and the greens were perfect, receptive but fast and putted very true.

was impressed with everything about the course, everything is right in front of you , lets you play with some room to miss, but still challlenging, . was fun to play and will be back often

Enjoyed a good value on a very nice course that is a diamond in the rough. Greens were in very good shape but cut a bit long and played slower than I am used to.

Tees and fairways in great shape. As you see from the date played, this was a Saturday, yet we got around in 3 1/2 hours with no waiting or being pushed.

Pro shop staff were friendly and helpful. There is a snack bar, but not much more. No drink cart or halfway house.

Only disappointment was the bunkers. There were plenty, and although it looked like they had tried to maintain them, the several times I was in them they were hard and bounce of club caused club to glance off sand and catch ball thin sending across green.

Besides that, a great course and fantastic experience. Worth the trip for a day to remember.
