The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is touted as the best mountain golf course in Colorado and even one of the best courses in the country. Towering forests of pine and aspen frame the rolling fairways and manicured greens on this scenic layout. The crystal clear creeks and trout-filled lakes are a striking contrast to the lush green of the course and the snow-capped peaks in the distance. The golf course is known for more than its scenery though, its challenging design is a test for all skill levels. The steep-faced bunkers have deeply furrowed edges, which can be tricky but they also serve to contain tee shots that might have an increased carry because of the course's dramatic elevations. There are also water hazards to contend with on several holes.

Great Conditions/Great Service

The course was in excellent condition. Was able to play as a single in less than 4 hours. The staff was amazing and allowed me to play earlier than my time since I was a single. Overall experience was excellent. With the GolfNow deal this was definitely worth the drive from Denver.

Good layout, early in season

The greens are still growing in for the season with the course conditions likely to be better from mid-July through mid-September. Good layout with a mixture of uphill, dogleg, downhill, side-slope, and semi-blind holes along with a variety of views, green sizes, and tee boxes.

Great views

Awesome Views, great elevated tee boxes, friendly staff! But for a course that charges 135 bucks a round and says it's it's the #1 mountain course in Colorado , NOT even close ! This course is maybe worth 75 bucks to play. In my opinion is highly overrated.

Great Mountain Course.

I got a "hot deal" on Golfnow and played this course in early mid-Oct, right before it was about to be closed for the season. It was in remarkably good shape. The greens were overly fast due to the time of year, but they rolled true. I love the layout, and it has a lot of elevation changes and great views. I would recommend that anyone playing it for the first time play from the white tees. There are a couple of par 3s that are pure evil (from the two back tees). Looking at the full regular price, I would have expected a better GPS system, but everything else (clubhouse, staff, carts, parking, etc...) was very nice. If you use your own GPS, be aware that GolfLogix has holes 15 and 17 reversed.

busy...but scenic views butiful area.

Course is butiful nestled in the rockies with great views! Unfortunately the place was packed ..took three hours to play 8holes. The ranger was useless and our group of four...both golf carts died. .resulting in us having to wait for assistance which never came and had to push carts back to club house.. thankfully the last two hills are down hill .. but never the less not an overall good experience.

Don't even bother

Played Raven Last year and overall had a great experience. This year was the exact opposite. It starts with a Pro Shop employee that was down right rude and un helpful. They didn't have enough carts for us so they had to shuttle us to the driving range while they waited on more carts to come in. 5.5 hour pace of play for $175.00???? Are you kidding? To compound the extremely poor tee-time management (every 9 minutes) they had one bev cart on the course. The greens all had patches in them and were in horrible condition. Honestly in 30 years of Golf I have never encountered such an over priced golf course. On a good note the scenery is outstanding and you will have plenty of time to enjoy it in a 5 and a half hour round of golf. This place is a joke and is not worth $30.00 to play it much less the $175.00 they are asking you to spend. Spend your money elsewhere.

Huge elevation changes & great views

Entertaining course. Elevation changes are significant, requiring adjustments in club selection. Greens were bumpy, due to invasivness of poanna grasses.
