Measuring 6,041 yards from the back tees, Newtonmore Golf Club is surrounded by some of the most beautiful highland scenery. Just try not to get too distracted at this more than 100-year-old club.
Newtonmore only has one par 5. The rest of the holes are a mix of par 3's and par 4's with lush fairways and super fast greens. So you'll be pushed to shoot handicap.
Newtonmore Golf Club is open to visitors at affordable prices. Golf buggy rental is available, and the club offers discounts for large parties.

A lovely golf course, very underrated
The course was in good condition. It's a really nice layout, with trees in play at some holes but quite generous fairways. A very enjoyable autumn game and excellent value for money with a Hot Deal.
Nice Wee Course
Nice little stop off if you're on the A9.
Also quite flat so it's an easy walk for all age groups which is also great if you want to get a round in but don't want the physical challenge of climbing hills before a long drive

Memorable experience
The course enjoys a fantastic setting. I was made very welcome at the club house and by those I met on the course. It was very quiet and the club house had closed when I got back. Thus, I didn’t get to sample the catering. The greens were very good,. I would recommend it to others and shall definitely return.
Short course, but challenging
Absolutely stunning course, really well laid out. The positioning of bunkers really makes you choose uour shots wisely. Greens abs fairways were in brilliant condition for late September, hats off to the grounds-people.
Good value
Nice course very flat which was great as i was carrying my clubs. Good value through Golfnow. Not the most exciting course but can still test you. Friendly club and as we were a two ball they let us play through.

If you are thinking of playing this course, do it. A pleasure to play, beautifully presented and lovely staff. Great value and wholeheartedly recommended.
Great course to play.
Course was in excellent condition, fairways were nice to play from and rough not too penal. Greens were fast and true. Layout of holes was interesting and views were spectacular. Nice clubhouse and friendly staff.
Great course
Great course in a fantastic setting. Lady in the shop was really nice and friendly allowing us to go out earlier than our time. Explained the lay out to us on the first tee.
Only two green keepers who do an amazing job!
Definitely recommend and will cone back if working in the area again.

Flat and featureless
There aren’t many interesting holes here. The course was well-maintained but it’s flat and just not very interesting.
Open course with nice views
Difficult to rate after playing mid November but I'll try to be as objective as I can. The corse looks quite forgiving at first glance and I really thought it was, until I realised the number of hazards I found myself playing from! It's fairly flat with a few undulations here and there. The greens roll well and many have subtle borrows that are difficult to pick. Staff here are friendly and helpful and there is a nice little clubhouse. Recommended

Lovely friendly staff , course had fantastic conditions greens were consistent speed , over all. I would play again , great value.
Nice resort type course
Enjoyable day, only pity was greens had been hollow cored, otherwise in great condition and a flat easy walk, although but samey at times, but at £16 good value
Poor layout and a lot of sheep faeces
Course was really rough looking with a lot of sheep faeces right throughout.
Brilliant scenery and course
Absolutely loved this course , the layout is fantastic and the course itself is not the longest but brilliant for all handicapers . We had a nice sunny day which helped and the staff were excellent. Bearing in mind this course has only 2 green keepers I think they are doing an amazing job !!. Can't see where previous reviews complaining about the rough are getting that from as there is more than enough room on most if not all holes when driving !.
Will definitely be recommending this course to friends .
