Durness Golf Club

About
Durness Golf Club is a nine-hole golf course, but with 18 different tees, most holes can be played differently the second time around. The scenery is stunning throughout with a variety of wildlife and plants.
The golf course is testing, with many natural hazards coming into play, including Loch Lamish on the sixth/15th and the Atlantic Ocean on the ninth/18th. Durness Golf Club opened in 1988.

Good course with some great views
Played Durness on a lovely afternoon whilst touring round North of Scotland. Beautiful wee 9 holer with two sets of tees -to make the back nine a bit different.
Some great views so be sure to take a camera.
Greens relatively small and in good nick - although they keep the grass relatively long so they tend to play slow but true !
Fairly tight fairways with plenty of opportunities to lose the odd wayward shot !
Met a couple of locals in the clubhouse. Both were extremely courteous and welcoming.
Well worth playing if you have the time.
