Golfer Reviews
Awful greens
The greens were aerated - awful to play. There was no information about this when I booked the tee time. And one comment for all citi golf courses - get two guys to fix the bold spots on the course. It is like this for decades - zero maintenance. Regular price for this course is $70 and it's always fully booked - spent few dollars to fix the obvious. Very disappointed.
Decent course
Nice course they are aerating the greens at this time so putting was tough the conditions are good but they could be better A lot of area needs grass to grow that is something the course needs to address
Clearview Needs Maintenance
The course is poorly maintained! The greens are aerated with plugs from the holes left just off the greens and with many plugs left on the greens! The course is strewn with broken twigs and branches. Checkin took forever!
Strange round, covid, Shared carts?
I was surprised that I had to share a cart with another golfer, equally surprised, never met before a stranger.. We both tried to shrug it off and teed off, but the mood was gone, slicing and hooking worst than ever. We later noticed four workers riding around in carts, one a ranger with a flag, the others just riding around in carts another golfer could have been using. A strange day.
VJC/Architect
Irespective of the dire circumstances of the covid issues, this course simply has never taken the time or made the investments in proper grounds management, undergrowth concerns, tree pruning, tee box designations and upkeep (most notably for female players) who pay full price for a cheapened product)?
I've played here since the late 70's and with honesty I can say that this is NIT a course, as presently set up that I'll play again this year.

Grateful they opened
Although the course was sloppy from an overnight downpour, I am grateful they opened up to accommodate us on a rare 60+ degree sunny day in February.
