DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
Had the played this course on and off for a number of years and always found it enjoyable.
However, I played it on 09/04/2021 and the course conditions were horrible. There was no
difference between rough and fairway it was all rough. My fellow golfers don't waste or time
or your valuable money book somewhere else to play.
American Golf, the course general manager, and staff should be embarrassed.
Golf is good no matter how hot!
I enjoy playing here because of convenience and it corresponds to my skill level. The course itself was not in good condition. It was hard to distinguish between the fairway and the rough because the fairway was like a cow pasture. And the greens were slow and in poor condition. It is not comparable to other city courses in care.
The course is finally coming back.
This course was destroyed last year and is starting to make a come back. The greens were a mess last year with burned grass, crab grass ect. It is making a nice recovery. It would definitely held if the golfers repaired their ball marks in the greens. I would return and expect the course to be back to it's pre covid conditions soon.
course is not being taken care of
the course is not being taken care of. green are full of divots, weeds are growing everywhere fairways are dry and bold. spider grass weeds have taken over most of the fairways . bunkers are not keeps not rakes
Course is not up kept at all
It took our group 3 hours to shoot the front 9! Not only was the pace of play horrible but the course was not kept in good shape at all. You couldn’t tell where the fairs were because the grass was so badly cut and weeds and crab grass fill what is supposed to be the fair way. Acorns and flowers and weeds fill the greens and make it impossible to put. $80 and $3dollars to park?!?! Is completely unreasonable this course should be the the best course around but it completely not managed.
1st time playing since it closed. Last year and re-opened. when it reopen course was in horrible condition....would not plsy..glad to say course is in decent shape. Fairways average...greens have patches of crabgrass and slow..but playable....still slow play but under 5 hrs today
Love it course
Convenient location from my house
Very kindly concerned
On the come back
Through the lockdown last year, and a few months leading to it, this course was in very bad condition. Im sure many of you know that. It was unplayable. there were literally patches of grass missing on the greens and there was little difference between the fairways and rough. That being said, I recently had a chance to play here and I have to say the conditions have improved drastically. Although still not in peak conditions (think 2016-2018 this course was a gem) I found that the grounds crew seem to really be on top of things. The greens are still a bit rocky here and there but it was more than acceptable. For those of you who know this course, one of the most infamous issues people have there is with the pace of play. But there were many rangers on the day I went. Playing with 3 seniors and I from the blue tees, we wrapped up a full round in less than 4.5 hrs. There were never any serious delays. Given the number of people who play here, i'd say that's quite an improvement. Kudos to the management team, the grounds crew and all the rangers for turning things around. I really hope this course continues on this path and turns this place back to the fun, beautiful course it once was. For me, i've put it back on my rotation of courses to play. I'm rooting for you Clearview!!!
Just ok
Short course. 6300 from the tips. Tight course. Very crowded, lots of people. Greens in good shape. Pace of play was 5 hours with a foursome. So many better places to play for same amount of money.
Worse Pace
3 hours for only 10 hole, the pace is so slow and no marshal that control the pace.
