Clearview Park Golf Course

Course not being maintained. Leaves and debris on greens. Can't tell where the fairways are.

Clearview should be ashamed of themselves. They charge high fees, charge an extra 3.00 to park in the lot, and do 0 maintenance on the course. The tee boxes are all just patches of dirt. The fairways are not cut and have weeds and dirt patches everywhere. The greens are in horrible shape. There are leaves all over the course. They do 0 work on the course and it shows.

Pace is slow but that’s normal for all City courses. The conditions are just a joke. Staff is friendly and fine.

I found some fairways and greens in need of attention, downed trees , dirt mounds on fairways, and greens with dirt patches. The layout is tricky but the tees are labeled, so the adjacent tee boxes can be figured out, and both 9 &18 returns to the club house.

The pace of play was decent, maybe the 6hr plus rounds, are all in the past. The foursomes were all moving, and our round was 4hr plus.

The view was great as the name suggest, and could be seen from several holes.

A course condition is getting worse and worse. Greens, tee boxes and even fairways are not maintained well.

So slow. There were three groups at each holes. Greens were so poor condition. I believed they only care about incoming lots of people rather than maintaining courses.

Wasting money and time to play at this local golf course.

The course was in poor condition around the greens. It also had slow pace due to allowing 5 minute tee time spacing between golfers.

Great layout but very busy. Course condition reflects its overuse

I have played this courses several times over the past few years. The course is just not in great shape cannot not differentiate from the ruff and fairways. The fairways are not maintained at all, tee boxes are in poor condition.

The staff in the clubhouse and pro shop are true professionals and the epitome of customer service.

I would only recommend this course as a last resort.

The fairways were covered with grass….in other words there were no fairways….there was never a roll…

They haven’t cut the grass in weeks. There are no fairways. Rough is really rough.

Had a chance to play while in the area. Will go over by subject matter.

Course Layout:

Layout is fairly straight with some holes having some twists and turns, some have elevation changes but again o really a straight course. Most holes are also very open and only a couple of holes have OB and or is tight. A decent mix of distance for the holes.

Pace:

Wow…. Really!!! 3 holes at the start was fine then the backup started till the end. Waited at least 5 min eacc hole

Condition:

Well they did warn you about the irrigation. But it goes beyond that. And they said deep discounted rates? Where? As you can guess there are some maintenance happening…. The fairways and rough are almost the same and in need of some major grooming. Greens were just horrible. I have to fault the golfers as well on this as no one seems to fix their marks. But too many little patches. Overall this course needs to upgrade as maintenance and upkeep is doing nothing but band aids that leaves scars.

Overall:

Potential to be a fun course for duffers and those good golfers that just want to relax with an easy layout. But the physical condition of the course with the price just doesn’t equate. Too pricey… absolutely zero value. Might be worth it at half the price.
